Hal did made a bad call from there but Zero made a mistake too. Hal messed up his first smoke (with a bad call) and Zero is already trying to climb before hal could re-smoke. So Hal decided not to smoke since he saw Zero already climbed the wall. Just for my perspective, I think Hal doesn't want to mess up the smoke again so he tried to peak on his first smoke (because he can't see the path clearly) for him to align his second smoke better for Zero (that's why Hal is going on the right), but didn't worked because Zero already climbed before that even happen.

13:08 To be fair, Hal literally can’t smoke in the same second after he got invisible walled. The smoke is blocking sight, and he did swing right to get vision almost immediately after it. If Hal did re-smoke at the timing Gen and Zero want, it would barely be useful since you can’t guarantee the smoke will hit where you want, especially for a controller with a drift. 13:18 And also, Zero clearly didn’t listen to the coms from Hal, he just climb it straight after, and even if Hal “successfully” re-smoke immediately, the smoke wouldn’t even make it on time since it takes half the second to actually expend. But even if Zero climb up at that timing, Hal still should’ve smoke it again to buy some time from those nades

I mean playing bang and cat is useless at this point. Hal on blood, zero on fuse and gen on bang makes most sense. But zero has to put his ego aside not playing the main character as igl. Btw; 2:05 who invited a chicken to scrims? 😂

Everyone made a mistake. Hal: Smoked the wrong area anyway even if there weren't an invisible wall there, and even the invisible wall is technically his mistake for not knowing it's there. Zer0: Decided to be impatient/vindictive of Hal's mistake and climbed up into 150hp of damage, killing his whole team. Gen: Baited Zer0 into not healing in time for the push by giving a Pheonix.

Zero and gent low key always team against Hal . Bc yes Hal messed the smoke up but zero clearly could’ve waited a few seconds for the second smoke and that would’ve solved that whole initial damage problem which led to nade stacking, being swung, and dying. However, both gent and zero kinda ignore that fact which could easily turn around the result of that play
