This is a raw uncut video of what we experienced in Grenada.
Our hearts go out to all the families that were devastated by this disaster. This is the first hurricane in 20 years to hit this low and it was extreme. So many people lost their homes, land based or floating, their businesses, and infrastructure. It truly is a gut wrenching disaster.

Ive lived in FL last 18 years and i cant tell you how many times weve said the words hurricane party.. you said it right when you mentioned the anticipation is awful! Anticipation is the worst! The one time my family ran from the storm it missed FL and hit us all the northest westest part of Georgia! We ended up in a cabin with trees down and no power for 5 days until we could get out of GA.. Murphy's Law! praying for you!

This was amazing coverage. Glad you all faired as well as you did. My heart goes out to all who were affected.

Thankful you are safe. Having survived many hurricanes I know exactly how you felt. Praying for all of you. ❤️🙏🏻
-
So glad you didn't get the worst of the storm. Very close! My thoughts and prayers go out to all the people devastated by Hurricane Beryl ❤🙏
-
Thank's for this great update and wish the best for everyone❤.
-
thanks for the update !!! so glad your safe

So thankful you're all safe. I've been following the hurricane watching the "live" posts. When I happened upon your post I knew I had to watch as I was already aware of the hurricane passing through that area. You live such a different, facinating lifestyle, I couldn't even begin to imagine how you all felt dealing with the knowledge all could be lost with this hurracain. But I guess we "land dwellers" have our tornadoes. Again, so thankful you're safe. My prayers go out to those less fortunate. ❤

My beautiful homeland. Just saw my workplace as you panned your camera in the Tanteen/Lagoon Road area.

Way to go Honu! You guys did a great job prepping her right after a crossing. You rock! Glad your safe🙌
-
We're happy you guys made it through as well as you did, but we feel awful for those who lost so much. Thanks for sharing your story so quickly.
-
So pleased you came through it unscathed. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Hope your Atlantic trip was all you hoped for. Stay safe.
-
Really good to see you guys fared well in this bypass of Beryl.
-
Great video. Encouraging all to watch. You show true emotions. Glad your safe

Closest we came is 2 years ago when we escaped Hurricane Ian in Fort Lauderdale. We saw the preparations and felt the anticipation not knowing ourselves if our flight would be cancelled. We were lucky to fly out. Can’t imagine how much more real it is to be in one though, so happy to hear you guys and Honu are safe! Our hearts too go out to all those whose lives were devastated by Beryl! 💔

Good to see you are safe and most boats there made it. Very lucky ! Take care......
-
Glad you guys are safe. Take care of yourselves.
-
Happy you guys put safety first. A Caribbean hurricane is nothing to play with. Unpredictability is the word for these storms. Stay safe in your travels.
-
