Sauron's disguise is the equivalent of people trying to trick their dogs into thinking they disappeared by holding up a sheet, then ducking around a corner when the sheet falls.

I find it so odd that so many of the writers/cast of the Rings of Power openly admit they didn't like Tolkein or his writing. Imagine a bunch of men directing the next Barbie movie, where they openly admit they hated barbies and never played with them. It would be such an odd thing to do. Yet here we are, with Amazon giving us more "content" that nobody wants, written and acted by people who don't like the source material, who don't understand the source material, and where they have a disdain of the man who created it all. Surely we are living in an episode of the Twilight Zone now. How could billion dollar companies be so braindead about all of this.

The more you think about Tucker Carlson's quote, "The marriage of ineptitude and high self esteem is the hallmark of our times" the more you realize how much it applies to everything new now. Especially the team responsible for RoP.
