My apologies for the audio issues guys! Currently using travel equipment
  • @jdwest34
If someone says the contract is “just a formality” read it twice.

Fanatics is absolutely terrified of other college students doing what Marvin Harrison Jr just did.. And they should be because fanatics shouldn't be making money off a kid who's not even in the NFL yet... It's extremely predatory
  • @GreasyWop
These companies take advantage of the players. I hope MHJ sets a new standard.
  • @ChrisDMarsh78
MHJ is just protecting his image and controlling the amount of autographed memorabilia available to collectors. It's a good move financially for him.
  • @alldaz93
What he's currently doing has nothing to do with the football side of things. He's still at OTA's and working towards being a great football player. Anything that he does off the field when it comes to his career is his business 💯. That should be for all of us, we should always make the best decision for us, and not because of what others want us to do or whats the norm.
  • @amsf1
Great for him. They've been exploiting these players for decades. It's about time these players recognize their worth and use it as leverage.
  • @Pounce730
They don’t want him to start a trend with other players. I love how this new generation is smart with contracts
  • Based on your report it sounds like Harrison Jr. Is already a smart businessman and his dad is a good mentor. When you hear “Just sign…it’s a formality”, “You can trust me” or (from a stranger) “my friend”, your alarm bells should be ringing.
  • Good for him, honestly. I hate what EA has released for well over a decade now, they've been milking MUT with subpar gameplay and features for so long. The monopoly has to end
  • @Supra_Mickey
NIL deals has changed the game for student athletes for sure
  • @Mr_Based
bro just needs a chapstick sponsorship and he's set for life
  • @Punked_1
Respect for Marvin for holding out and paving a road for other future athletes, fanatics has been preying on easy money for 2/4 years of contracts for years
  • @mikefowler17
I’ve been saying this for years, the weird monopoly that Fanatics has will ruin the sports merch industry, but it’s ruining the sports industry as a whole. Fanatics strange meteoric rise needs to be investigated. Good on MHJ for standing up for himself and not signing their deal.
  • I'm all for it ! Clearly his pops knows how grimey the sports business can be ( hes probably seen teammates or colleagues get taken advantage of or go broke) and is guiding his son on how he can leverage his talent and hardwork for more money. Since NIL a lot of these companies will be mad that these young men can leverage thier way into contracts as well. If you hatin you really must be thinking that these companies have the players best interests in mind 🤡. At the end of the day his talent and hard work got him here and ultimately the same will have to be put in to ahow results in the NFL. Get your bread MHJ!

Marvin Harrison Sr. is doing EXACTLY what a SMART, LOVING "FATHER" SHOULD be doing.
