    I definitely prefer doing deadlifts with this bar than the traditional barbell .
  • Simple and great video. I just started doing these and love the exercise. A lot less back pain.
  • Definitely better for me due to arthritis in my lower back. I can do barbell, but have to use plates to make it easier on my back.
  • I think it's harder to hold the trap bar because with the barbell you can use alternate grip. It is less stress on the back but more stress on the forearms.
  • I love hex bar deadlifts. Doesn’t mess my hands up as much as a normal bar but still gives me a good workout.

  • What is the purpose of this movement? I don't see it as beneficial to any work out to much of happening for it to be a hypertrophy movement
