Introduction to SOLAR POWER SYSTEM

  • I am an MEP design engineer by profession and I would never recommend getting a solar panel system if the power requirement of the property is less than 500 Kw. I have done a lot of feasibility studies for various clients in the past. The investment will never pay for itself. I will point out some key points to shorten the comment. First, the panels will need scrapper to get rid of dust particle on the surface so it can fully harvest sunlight. Second, sun rays will not always be perpendicular to the panel surface, some sunlight will get deflected even at a small angle, so it will need to adjust automatically to get its maximum potential. Third, as per NFPA standard, any batteries will need to be replace every 5 years even if it is still functioning as it becomes fire hazard. This would definitely impact the value of the property insurance. Fourth, it is not that easy to sell unused power (if there is any) back to the grid (net metering). Where is the nearest grid connection? Who will shoulder the installation cost from your property back to the nearest grid? And fifth, the operational and maintenance aspect of the system installation. There are a lot more to consider before you can clearly see the bottomline of the investment. If power outage is one of the driving force why you want to consider solar panel system, I would suggest an emergency generator is the more convenient and economically sound choice.

This panel can put out close to 100 watts youtube.com/post/UgkxOqI2yqX0XVrhR2BMJciTWrHJpG8Fh… when positioned in the appropriate southernly direction, tilted to the optimal angle for your latitude/date, and connected to a higher capacity device than a 500. The built in kickstand angle is a fixed at 50 degrees. Up to 20% more power can be output by selecting the actual date and latitude optimal angle. The 500 will only input 3.5A maximum at 18 volts for 63 watts. Some of the excess power from the panel can be fed into a USB battery bank, charged directly from the panel while also charging a 500. This will allow you to harvest as much as 63 + 15 = 78 watts. If this panel is used to charge a larger device, such as the power station, then its full output potential can be realized.
GOD bless and keep safe always.

Maraming salamat Po at nag karoon Ako Ng idea Hindi Pala Basta Basta ung solar, thank you Po sir!

I like your channel... Watching from Cebu City...
  • @Falcon-cd9uu
  • @rodolfomeba
Salamat sayong tips and tuturial kapatid, more viideos to come.
  • galing nyo magpaliwanag Sir dami kung natutunan about sa solar panel before mag install,,napindot kuna pala yung pula..God bless po
  • @joffrey.ph_
Medjo nahihilo pa ako sa mga terminology at gamit pero very informative talaga to video nyo lodi. Panoorin ko ulit para mag sink in at mas maintindihan ko to. Thank you for sharing! 👍
  • @freddave9367
Thanks kalecky very informative about solar system.
  • @mikoandmakovlog
Wow naman, Sana all kayang bumalik Ng solar panel kahit ung maliit lang hehe
