Glad to know there are some people who actually understand that adults can also have autism 😂
-
I think I might have autism
-
The issue I have is that my emotions are so, horribly drained now that getting help would do nothing because I just don't care anymore...
-
I wish I had access to something like this.

My nephew just graduated high school, he too is on the spectrum of Autism. I am trying to help him with the transition from high school to college. I wonder if there is a program like this, in the East los Angeles area? If anyone knows about a program like this for new college students please let me know, it will be very much appreciated.

It may not be the same but it would really be great if this course could be taught online for those of us that live 1000 miles away from UCLA.

This needs to be funded

Here is a discord server. https://discord.gg/VFFU6h This is a server for everyone that likes to be in their room, is bad at socializing, or has mental illness. Many of us at this time are Maladaptive Daydreamers (people that involuntarily daydreaming for long period of time) and we want it to include other people that could benefit from talking about our issues, how our individual lives are affected, giving advice, and bonding.

I ain't stupid to know that when a person is threatening me or vandalizing or stealing that is not a friend.

+UCLAHealth Thanks for the reference to a book to add to my emotional- and relational-training wishlist: Elizabeth A. Laugeson Psy.D., The Science of Making Friends: Helping Socially Challenged Teens and Young Adults (Hoboken, NJ, USA: J. Wiley & Sons Inc., 2013).

“Decrease in autism symptoms”??? That’s like saying a blind person going on some course made them less blind. 🤔

When you're trying to be social but instead you get a fine by police for violating COVID-19 measures.

Like going to a class will help you make friends. We're autistic that's why people don't like us.
