  • Nobody’s shallow for taking care of themselves. Maam when I tell you that you just healed 39 years of me. Wow. Thank you

As someone who went from being an overweight "pick me" to a "no waist gang" baddie, then back tracking to jaded and chubby... she's right. Looks do matter.

One more tip: DRINK WATERRRRRR. I’m currently drinking 80-100 oz of water a day with a cute bottle my sister gave me and I seriously feel different, I look brighter, I sleep better, my breath smells better, etc. Drink water girls!!

Glow up in your 20s, 30s, 40, 50s, 60s. Make each era memorable. ❤. I am feeling better in my 40s. Turning 41 is like the new 30s but wiser. ❤. I can't wait to glow in my 40s. I got this! Anyone going through these changes shows that you're growing to the best version of you. Get to know everything about yourself. It's so peaceful and becoming so much happier. ❤

You don't have to be the most drop dead gorgeous person in the world. But if you put yourself together and show you care about your appearance, it sends a very clear message to others without even saying a word. If you care about your appearance and take care of yourself, what else do you take care of. If you take yourself seriously, what else to do you take seriously. If you're confident people will flock to you. If you look put together and have finesse, people will want to be around you. You will become a magnet.

Please do glow up but please be mindful of the limits of enhancing your physical appearance. Do not depend on it. One, it doesn’t matter how beautiful you are, you will be old news to anyone who sees you on a regular basis. Your beauty can be downgraded by lacking internal growth and beauty. Having a bad personality or being stuck in various forms of trauma will cancel your best efforts and cause you to always have attraction but no connection with others. Looking pretty will NOT automatically attract good men. It will attract men. period. You can still be mistreated, used, or be hurt and win Miss America. Beauty does not entitle you to anything. Look good for yourself FIRST. Do not try to look like someone else: figure out YOUR style.,
  • Ever since I started glowing up, things have changed. The other day my food came faster than normal (I have a regular order) and when the guy brought it to me he said "your food, ma'am" with a big smile on his face. Cheers to dressing classier!

I did laser hair removal 3 years ago for my legs Brazilian and underarms and LET ME TELL YOU I feel better, cleaner, and more confident since. I say cleaner bc my skin was so sensitive when I shaved that I would get actual welts that were painful and icky. So happy I did it.
  • @Desi_Laine
I have learned at 43,the way you treat yourself,is literally how others will treat you.❤
  • @fightingram
Firm believer in when we look good, we feel good!
  • @mgr5396
Females that I work with in my office make comments about me all of the time and look at me in a negative way because im the only one who is overweight doesn't get her hair and nails done and it really sucks. I'm a very down to earth person so it was never something I felt that I needed to do. One day, the nicer one of the group basically pulled me aside and said my husband needs to let me have a self care day because she was worried im not prioritizing myself especially since im a mom. Truly that perspective changed what I thought was vanity and rudeness to am I actually giving myself free time.
  • "If it's not a heck yes, it's a no" 100% this. Not even for just shopping for new clothes but when getting dressed daily. Even an item in your closet that you may normally feel great in, there may be some days you just aren't feeling it and it shows! It's so important to feel confident in what you're wearing every day.
  • I will be 50 this year and feel I have only just, in these last few months, given myself the green light to do better. For too long I was fighting with ideas around dress vs. vanity, weakness, motherhood, femininity etc for myself, but appreciating elegance in other women. 2024, will finally be different! 😊
  • @Telltalesign
Imma take this as a sign to improve myself physically this year. We need to be pretty!!
  • @yoongoboongo231
i recently started investing a lot of money and time into my skincare and haircare, but worried that i was becoming too vain. thank you for this video, and i feel a lot more confident and happy putting energy into my external self <3
  • @maddyharvey7414
Found you on Hailey Gamba’s video. Absolutely love the idea of ELEVATING and ENHANCING what you already have, rather than trying to change your looks to suit arbitrary external standards. I want to pour into the best external version of ME, rather than trying to get a body shape that isn’t natural for me, hair and makeup that doesn’t suit my personality and clothes that aren’t cohesive with my lifestyle. It’s also interesting how different people can be in what they find attractive. For example, you said you aren’t an ‘8’ but I looked at you and immediately found you to be very above average in terms of attractiveness.
  • @Jessica-ko1eg
Thank you I needed this. I just spent a fortune on my hair. I lost 70 lbs by working out and eating healthy and I started a journey of self love years ago after neglecting myself for years. I attracted a wonderful man who has lately been saying I don’t need to do what I do to my hair… he likes natural..and yet what I’m doing is what attracted him in the first place… hmmmm
  • @Mmmmkaaay
I'm 50lbs. and a rhinoplasty away from being a solid 7. 🤣 Pro tip: if eyeshadow application intimidates you, try cream shadows. They blend much better than powder and are more forgiving.
