ABOUT WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME
Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson are total opposites with an unbreakable bond since meeting on the hit sitcom “Cheers.” But after that show wrapped, life took them in different directions, and they missed each other. This podcast is a chance to reconnect, both with each other and the amazing friends they’ve each met over the decades, like Will Arnett, Dax Shepard, Jane Fonda, Mary Steenburgen, José Andrés, Conan O'Brien, and more - that is, when Ted can get a hold of Woody! Join them as they dig beyond the career highlights and into the stuff of life that makes us who we are. Like the title says, this is a place to be known.

I wake up to a new podcast with Ted and Woody, with their feet up, in Conan's studio, with Arnett as their guest!?!? This is a pretty good Wednesday!
-
I can't believe that I'm actually watching a podcast hosted by Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson! Damn! Fantastic!
-
Thanks to Team Coco for this
-
Touched by how polite Ted is asking about hugging at the end. Who in their right mind wouldn't want a Ted Danson hug?
-
"But deep down, a quitter." That took me out. lol
-
I’m always happy to see Will Arnett wherever he appears
-
Conan would have found it hilarious to have Woody sitting in HIS podcast studio and tell Will Arnett that his podcast is the best. 😂
-
"Kelly Kelly Kelly Kelly..." my first memory of laughing till it hurt watching television. I was 8 or 9. So great.

As a tv writer, I've studied Cheers. Deconstructed many, many of their episodes. Besides the writing being the best in the business -- Ted Danson is one of the BEST, if not THE best comedy actor I've ever witnessed on screen. His work in The Good Place shows how he's stood the test of time. His timing, vulnerabilities, ease with his body, brave choices and whatever magical charisma the universe gave him - THE BEST.

Okay I am a certified Cheers nut, and I am so jazzed about this. When I start talking about this show people give me a look like "dude it was a comedy about a bar." Like no, it was so much more. It was in a lot of ways a master class in character driven writing. It's a show about so many sad and difficult things that put these people in the same room together. Sam, a recovering alcoholic living beyond his moment and overcoming addiction in a bar of all places, who loves deeply and tries very hard not to show it through a facade of bravado, trying to decide if he's the playboy of his baseball days or the scary hidden things in his heart. Coach, a selfless and simple man who would do anything for Sam because he knows his heart. Carla, living through a broken marriage and single motherhood, tough as nails. Cliff, who just wants to be loved and escape the orbit of his mother from time to time. Norm, a nobody accountant who is a god in Cheers, who tells jokes about his wife to earn points with the crowd, but who has always loved her deeply--just doesn't know how to show it most of the time. Dianne, a naive student who sees something in Sam, fights for him, until finally, he fights for her. Man, look at where actors like Ted and Woody have gone from there. They were amazing character actors playing amazing characters, and they deserve the success they've had.

As a huge fan of Cheers myself, this is possibly the best interview I've ever watched/listened to with Will Arnett. Also love that it's available to to watch in it's entirety, not just to listen. Wishing a lot of luck with this podcast with hopefully many, many more episodes to come.

Damn. Will Arnett seems larger than life. I would never think of him pulling on side of the road to cry. He's lego Batman.🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤

Girlfriend: "What are you doing?" Me: "Nothing...and don´t talk to me for the next 56 minutes!"
-
What’s funny about Will getting the part in Arrested over Rainn Wilson is that if Rainn had gotten that he wouldn’t have been available for The Office a couple years later. The universe works in mysterious ways
-
Woody's in the Sona seat! Is it a pot thing?
-
What scene from Arrested Development are they talking about? Could someone link it? Edit: Guys I found it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7X0xV_Idfgs

This is delightful. Ted's the straight-man, Woody the wildcard, and guests who want to interview them 🥰
-
Will Arnette and Amy Poehler - a couple I will always root for, we are in no position to say anything but it still makes me sad knowing they are no longer together
-
Love it! Great chemistry between Woody and Ted. Looking forward to seeing the pod grow and evolve. A definite keeper!

The chapters are incredibly helpful. Thank you producers!
