what i like is although the loser lost out they never argue with judges, and accept that they made an (slightly) inferior weapon
  • @DrHeitaki2.0
'Cant have nuts that are too big, nor nuts that are too small' great quote
  • @zerx9926
"See, this is very safe next to a propane tank" is fucking hilarious
  • @keithmusilli7692
What i hated about the show was that the one judge would always take a weapon and test it by subjecting it to things nobody in their right mind would do to a bladed weapon.
  • 5: 14 painters tape and paper towels the only logical option after almost cutting your hand off
  • @vertonimal
"I want to make sure it can perform, I want to make sure it works. I may have to adjust the blade geometry" "this stuffs good for making horses shit, works great for quenching blades too. oh yeah, real safe doing this next to a propane tank. or my favorite barely out of context combo of lines. "it ain't a real blade until it's drawn blood. where are my nuts?"
  • "The smallest little detail that you miss can get you off" misses the literal single identifying characteristic of the weapon he's supposed to make
  • @Leithener
Btw, for those who wonder, the Polish War Hammer in Polish is called "Nadziak" and it literally means "Impaler"
  • @keithmusilli7692
Second judge.... let me test this beautiful sword by smashing it into this giant stone or other immovable object that is guaranteed to ruin your weapon.
  • @Coleman2017
If they wanted to simulate REAL chain mail armor with the war hammer they would have to put leather armor under. Chain mail was Almost ALWAYS used with leather armor because chain mail DOES NOT protect gaunt PIERCING it protects against SLASHING and (some) BLUDGEONING
  • @prebenkul
the chainmail hammer test is so brainless, chainmail will NEVER protect against sharp pointed weapons. You can use anything and it'll cut and end the person, their meant for slicing, not penetrating. You have to be actually horrible if that is gonna fail
  • @cubixoro9547
For anyone wondering: thumbnail guy was the first out because his blade had a massive crack in it
  • @markopolo1271
The mail used in the warhammer test as well not even having a padded gambeson or padded jack underneath but even despite that the mail just seemed far too thin and frail looked like a butter knife would make it's way through
  • Man, as a shop production coordinator at a big company, seeing what these guys do working with metal gives me fucking chills. Like this video is how to break every safety measure ever put in a big store.
