Jackson, here's something I bet you didn't know: How much appreciation there is for you continuing on through this medium after your show ended.
  • I found a kitten in my yard, roughly four to five months. After a few weeks spent gaining her trust, she brought me four kittens that were at least six weeks old. And when I took her to the vet, she was already pregnant again with nine more babies. I adopted her and her first four, all happy and healthy a decade later.

My Calico is 25 years old and still going strong!! She is a sweetheart who also polydactyl on both front feet.
  • @lizcain2367
I have a female calico she’s 10 years old and we cannot go to sleep unless she jumps in my bed and snuggles next to me. I could not imagine life without her and I never liked cats. I was a dog person lol.❤
  • I rescued a calico in June of 1999. She definitely had a tude, but I still loved that furry little beast. When she was 12 in 2011, I had my daughter, she loved my daughter and became her cat. I won't lie, I was a bit jealous!! Anyways my beautiful baby was spayed and strictly an indoor cat. I got to love her for 21.5 years. ❤

I am so glad there are so many cat lover's in this world...but there is always room for many more....

I love cats. They’re so loving and deep, beautiful, cute, smart, playful, clean... great animals.

My tortie is the sweetest cat in the world. She loves spending time with me and I her. She is my alarm clock and has the cutest way of getting me up. She also has some very adorable habits that just melt my heart. I just can't imagine not having her.
  • @AshAshBaby
We had a tortie named Tippy growing up out in the country, and she was definitely the boss of the house and she knew it too. But she also saved one of the other cats life- we had a blind cat, Helen, who was indoor only for obvious reasons, but she got out one day and disappeared. We thought she was a goner, but about a week after she had disappeared, we saw Tippy coming around the corner of the garage, closely followed by Helen. I'm convinced Tippy managed to find her and bring her back. How she did that I don't know, but there's no question to me that we'd have never seen Helen again without Tippy. Torties might have a 'tude, but they're smart as hell and I'll always love them
  • @Lestaticate
Adopted a "teen mom" Calico from a foster program a few years back. She’s aggressive…ly friendly. Would shove my door open and make a mad dash yelling for emergency pets.

My first ever cat was a Tortie who was a tiny kitten who ran out from under a porch, sat on my foot and told me I was going to love her forever. Truth. Sadly she suffered from migraines and died of at stroke at seven. Two years later my wife and I were in a PetSmart just checking out the cats. We were standing speaking with the attendant and from back in a cage a Tortie we did not notice reached out and started tapping me on the shoulder. I turned around and she clearly said, "You're mine buddy." That was in 2016 and her name is Freya and a more apt name would not be possible.
  • @MCM1965
My rescue cat is a black male and is the sweetest boy ever. I may be partial, but I think he is the best cat in the world! I named him Freddie, after Freddie Mercury and his love of rescue cats! 🐈‍⬛ ❤😊
  • My baby girl got an extreme case of pyometra when she was very young. She had to have her uterus and ovaries removed all in one piece. The vet said it was the worst case he'd seen in 20 years and was at a loss for words at my having managed to diagnose it at the time, just in time. If I had not acted when I did, forcing a friend to drive us to the Emergency Vet at 1am she would have been too far gone. We got in, confirmed my diagnosis, she was sedated and given antibiotics then due to the surgery not being open till 8am we brought her home to wait. [ She could have stayed at the vets till the surgery opened up but I understand her better than anyone else ever could and knew she was too gravely ill and doped up to be left unattened, in a cage, in a dark scary room, filled with animals she'd never seen, heard or smelt before, in a scary place, her dad not around. Better to be at home as calm and comfortable as possible where I could closely monitor her ] After the most tense and agonizing wait the surgery opened up and she went in... Success! The case was so extreme we photographed the extracted organ/s. The fallopian tubes, normally the thickness of a thin shoelace, were so swollen they were as thick as your thumb. When I got her I dedicated myself to raise her up to be a perfect specimen of health now all these years on, any time we go to a vet they're quick to remark how toned and muscly she is. I was in a deep dark place, well and truly at the end of my tether when I got her, the tiniest little 8 week old runt you've ever seen. That little life saved me I am thankful everyday to still have my beautiful baby girl by my side and will be forever grateful to all the dedicated people involved in her surgery and care. She brought me back from the abyss and I dedicated myself to raising her the best I can, no matter what. And now, well now I'm the proudest most thankful cat dad in the world.

I've got a Calico and all her 17 years on this earth she has been the biggest cuddle bug there is. Friends, strangers, children or dogs she loves them all. Flipping over and never-ending belly rubs. But if neighbours kitty comes around all the spice is there. :chillwcat:
  • First time cat mom here. My kitty girl is named Esme. I wouldn't have felt prepared to be her guardian if it weren't for your knowledge and all of the information I got from watching "My Cat From Hell," reading your books and watching this YouTube channel. Thank you Jackson. Best cat dad...ever :-)
  • I always say that my calico is "sugar, spice, and not always nice". She definitely has an attitude!
  • @LisaLane711
We had a calico growing up. Pooky was very sassy, moody, sometimes crazy. She spent 12 years perfecting her evil ways, but the last 5 years working her way into heaven. Yes, it took 5 years of sweetness to make up for all her catitude from her first 12 years. Dang, I loved that cat.
  • @sanne7164
"Oh my gosh! I can't take you all!" Said the guy who got ambushed by a bunch of kittens and who purrrobably took them all to find them wonderful homes. I know I would! 😍
  • @BijutsuYoukai
Wanted to emphasize the spaying point because it really is so important. As someone who suffered the consequences of not spaying my cat (pyometra as mentioned in the video) because I thought she was fine being exclusively indoors and the only cat, don't make my mistake and 100% get your girls spayed when its time. I almost lost mine because I didn't and had to shell out $1200 for an emergency ovo hysterectomy and then struggle to get her to eat afterwards for several weeks. I got lucky and she's doing great now, but it's best not to risk it.
  • @brianfarrer11
I had a female cat that apparently took color requests for kittens. I would joke around every time she came in the house we want all orange kittens and one white one for my mom as I would pet her and giver her a lot of attention. She was a black cat and after she had that batch it was 6 orange kittens and one white one. We were in tears because we weren’t expecting that to actually happen.
