Thanks very much, Glenda! I did manage to catch the sale, and got a big box full of the Soho Tranquil yarn. It’s lovely, soft yarn — but I was VERY dismayed to see that the label says “dry flat”!!! I checked back on the Herrschner’s website to see how I missed that, and guess what — there’s nary a word about drying flat, only that it’s machine washable acrylic (which I sadly assumed meant machine dryable, too). The problem is that I make children’s charity blankets for Project Linus, and these blankets have to be made with completely easy care yarn … which this is not! Arrrgghh!!! The frustrating part is that I couldn’t have avoided this problem, given the lack of info on Herrschner’s website. I love Herrschner’s — but I sure wish they would include the FULL information on the yarn labels they sell, or at least include a photo of the entire yarn label, so that customers could make informed decisions about buying it. Anyway— long story short, I’ll have to donate this yarn to a thrift shop, alas. At least I didn’t spend a lot of money on it. I’ll also avoid any more yarn from Herrschner’s that I don’t already know is machine dryable. Just wanted to tell my sad story …😢

I got in on the $1/skein sale and made a beautiful selection of Himalayan Air Wool #4 and Northland Spiral #5…all $1/skein. I am over the moon with my selection.

My favorite was the Lakehiuse and Breezy, I go more for the blues and then I liked the purple.
