Fidelius- An Original Composition

ALRIGHT! This song has QUITE the story.
Since November, I've been dating someone who was there for me during one of the most difficult times of my life. I decided that one way to truly thank him would be to write him a song. I also wanted to give it to him for his Christmas present. I started the very first part in mid- November, and it's all kind of fallen into place since then. By no means was it easy, though! You see, for one of my Christmas presents, I was given tickets to the Video Games Live concert in a city near me on last Friday. If you aren't sure what this is, I highly suggest you visit the website!

And if this was amazing enough, there was also a "meet and greet" with a couple composers after the show! After I got the tickets for Christmas, I knew I had to finish my song so I could give it to them. I didn't know when I would find another opportunity like this! That whole next week, I had many very very late nights, and tons of frustration! My family, and myself, were getting tired of hearing the song OVER and OVER! But I finally finished it! I burned it onto a CD, and was able to successfully hand it out to Tommy Tallarico and Laura Intravia.
The stress involved in writing this song really taught me a lot about my composing abilities. Hopefully, I won't have to feel that rushed again!
Well, that's enough of my babbling! Enjoy the song! And I'm sorry it goes for another 2ish minutes after the song is done... I'd rather not re-upload it... heh...

  • YAY SARAH! I really like it! I especially like the build-up at the end. What a charming story, too! You're so lucky to have gotten to meet professional composers and give them your music!! I hope I get lucky enough to do that one day. XD ANYWAYS, back to the piece. It sounds very 'Sarah-ish'! It reminded me of FFIX because of it's sad, but neo-medieval sound. Nicely done! :)
