Donโt change all cannons to walking mode or sth. Change only one of them first. Then let it go to the place u want. This will eliminate the bombs threat. Change and move the rest of cannons as soon as the place u want is safe so that u can also save time.

honestly i was on bh5 when builder 2.0 came out, lets just say cannon carts are probably the most strategic troop in builder base 2.0. Its hard to use but once you get used to it, its quite easy, not to mention you also are able to out range double cannons, roasters, cannons and mega teslas

Canons and archers towers are hard to reach as they have a good range. Lava launcher, giant canon and multi mortar will get you. Teslas and traps will pop up. Not to mention, last but not least. The X bow.
