this makes people appreciate the importance of wearing seat belts
-
This is why I never take my seatbelt off unless I go to the bathroom or we’ve landed. Some turbulence is totally unexpected.
-
And that is exactly why the crew tells you to keep your seat belts fastened unless you NEED to move about the cabin.

As someone who often flies to Singapore from London via sg airlines, turbulence is something I encounter every single time. It's terrifying to hear this news of someone dying, but it's a relief that at the very least the plane did not crash and landed safely.

Bangkok emergency services did an amazing job of receiving, treating, transporting the injured.
-
the way that gentleman paused, and simply said "...and horrible." just gives me goosebumps
-
1:40 The pause before he said "and horrible". I can't imagine what fear they went through. Hope everyone will recover physically and mentally, and condolences to the British man and his family.
-
The pilots and crews deserve applause for unforeseen circumstances. Hope everyone will recover physiologically soon.
-
Thank you Thailand You guys are well prepared to deal with the emergency medical team. Excellent.
-
THE MORAL OF THE STORY: ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEATBELT, REMOVING IT ONLY WHEN YOU REALLY NEED TO GO TO THE COMFORT ROOM.
-
Pilots are always vilified and even punished in situations like this, but I just want to commend them for landing the aircraft safely. It could have been worse.

I was on a severely turbulent flight off coast of Japan. They had just started meal service. Everything became a projectile including people not strapped in. A flight attendant suffered open fracture with leg bone sticking out, blood everywhere, broken bones, concussions, etc. I didn't fly for 10 years. I keep my seat belt ON. I keep everything put away. I holler at anyone leaving overhead bins open. My experience forever changed me. I'm glad plane made it to Bangkok because they have excellent medical care there and a range of prices for hotels. 🙏 for all.

Thailand goodness of heart ️ Thank you for best support

My condolences to the family of the passenger that passed. I pray those injured heal physically and psychologically. I have never experienced turbulence but it sounds terrifying. I’m so glad the crew were able to safely land the plane.

Lesson learnt: wear a seatbelt when seated and wear a helmet when going to the bathroom

As an expat living in Singapore I fly Sing Air as much as possible. It’s a world class carrier in every way. Grateful to the fast-acting pilot and air crew and also the Thailand authorities for their organized response. This is a reminder to always fasten your seatbelt when advised. They say that for a reason.

I started flying at 8 with TAA, the most joyful experience of my life. It’s a rare tragedy my heart goes out to families concerned, rejoice forever the many survivors owing their lives to the pilots.
-
Now you understand why the flight attendants always want you to wear seatbelt 😢
