Tighten goes on a rampage, demanding to fight Megamind, and threatening to kill Roxanne when she tries to reason with him. With Minion's help, Megamind escapes prison, using holographic disguises to make himself appear as Metro Man, and Minion as Megamind, to frighten Tighten away and rescue Roxanne. However, Megamind's speech patterns give him away, and Tighten attacks Megamind, throwing him into the stratosphere. Dehydrating himself into a cube and landing safely in a fountain, Megamind rehydrates next to Tighten and extracts the DNA from him, removing his powers.

Came back to this master piece after watching the absolute dog water garbage that was the Megamind 2 trailer.

I love how Titan is deeply insecure even as he’s winning the fight. It just feels so consistent to his character.
  • The way he kicks a bus at Roxanne makes me think this would be pretty brutal if it was an R rated movie.
  • Can we take a moment to appreciate how great of a friend and how brave Minion is? He risked his life to save Roxanne because she was very important to Megamind and Megamind is very important to him <3

This one scene is probably better budget than the entire megamind 2 movie

Weird to think that it’s actually Minion who delivers the ‘presentation’ line

I like that he just comes down, says the “ Ollo”, and the epic music kicks in. Chills. Every time
  • Roxanne:What's the plan MegaMind:It mostly involves not dieing Roxanne:I like that plan MegaMind:Ok
  • 4:44 Titan: This is the last time you make a fool out of me. 4:47 Megamind: I made you a hero, you did the "fool" thing all by yourself.
  • Anyone notice that this is always what happens when you give someone power that they didn't earn.
  • I like the detail at the end where Titan's name on his health bar fades and goes back to Hal Stewart
  • There's a benefit to losing you get to learn from your mistakes.
