Cat Seizure

Cats meow like that when they don't feel good. Mine does that before he pukes

You can already tell. just by looking at her/his claws stressed out.

I never knew I had all of these comments on this till today. This all happened during the height of Covid. I could not get her vet to see here and ended up at an emergency clinic. We ended up finding out this was due to kidney failure and her organs were shutting down and I had he put to sleep that night.

My kitty has gran Mal seizures. You never get used to it. It's so frightening. She usually only has them during her heat cycles. She's so confused afterward and just wants her Momma,so I talk softly so she knows I'm there.

I pray this cat is okay 🙏🏽🧡🐾 God heal any cat going through this 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 its never easy to see your pet sick i hope this cat is happy and healthy and not having any seizures anymore 🙏🏽

Poor thing. It ran to hide in a corner, usually not a good sign. I hope the cat is doing well.

My cat is almost 19 and since a few months , aside from suffering from dehydration due to weaker kidney function, he occasionally has a seizure for about one mn. The first one was tough on him and he needed a full day to recover but the others looked the same but he recovered within mn and wanted to eat and looked just fine … 🙏🏻BTW, I give him subcutaneous ringer lactate fluids when I see him getting over thirsty and I also give him an occasional subcute shot of a product designed for weakened animals called SUPERAMINO. It contains glucose, vit B complex, amino acid and electrolyte for metabolizing . Since then, he has regained weight and feels comfortable so he can sleep well. I also feed him boiled chicken breast and chicken liver in plenty of broth, flavored with occasional wet cat food when he gets bored . This has improved him more than I could ever hope. I thought I was loosing him there…😢

Just like humans, Keep em on their side so they don't choke in case they vomit, and comfort them and let it pass

It is never easy to see your fur baby in distress or a stressful event like a seizure. I had two fur baby cats that had seizures and always broke my heart when they went into one. Good thing this, fur baby has a good home, cos not many cat owners are able to handle cats or even dogs with disabilities. ❤

For anyone watching this today, please do not thikk your cat is going to die. My cat had similar behavior 1 week ago and this is the first video I have found that is similar to his walking. We got him into emergency vet and the next day they ran tests but did not find anything. They believe it is something neurological, possibly a minor stroke. We decided to go with antobiotics for 2 weeks and steroid treatments for 3 weeks. Out normal vet is also doing accupuncture. His walk is still funny, but he eats, drinks water, and uses the litter box. This morning he jumped up on the bed for the first time since it happened. He is still learning, but we don't believe he is going to die from this. ❤

I remember when my forst puppy went through his first seizure, i was 8 and i heard my mom yelling from the living room, i was sleeping, "No No No! You can't do this to me!!!" I run out as fast as i could and theres my fluffy boy, shaking endlessly on the ground not making a sound but a lot of foam. I started crying, all i knew was that i might lose my puppy, my moms bf happened to walk in the door at that point and started yelling at us to get in his car and take him to the vet, he seriously must've drove over 80 that night. It can be horrifying and scary. Im so sorry he has to go through it. 😢 May he heal quickly and live long and full.

Seizures can often be a sign of liver problems in cats, get Him to the vet asap if He is put on meds soon enough He can live a long healthy life.

Same exact thing with my cat.. Just started a few days ago. Went to vet the next day, blood work, everything came back perfect. She did it again yesterday and it was exactly like this video. Vet doesnt seem to know what it is. She has a limp afterwards for like 30min. Vet wants to do MRIs, XRAYS, everything under the sun of course.

Poor kitty! The way the kitty is moving, trying to walk. With my seizures my body always wants to go right for some reason.

My senior cat does this. He has liver disease. This time was pretty bad. Going to vet. Plus hes drinks alot.

Now, I finally know why our kitten walked like a drunk 😢 because of seizure.
