Obviously there are question marks about how Edey's game will translate, but how you can give a team in NEED OF A BIG MAN an "F" grade for taking a flyer on a big man who was the back to back consensus National Player of the Year, ESPECIALLY in this weak draft class, is just beyond laughable. I think his screen setting and offensive rebounding is going to be huge for the Grizzlies. Literally the perfect big to play along side Jaren too.

You must have missed Edey's draft combine, had a faster sprint and better shooting than Alex and you can't say that kind of bigman is outdated cause he isn't fast and plays his back to the basket when you have guys like Jokic and Embiid

Edey was the focal point of his team and he succeeded. Got 2X national player of the year. He will dominate inside like he did in College! So he can't guard out in the perimeter, it's not like there is a 100% 3pt shooter out there. Grizzlies is gonna be hard to score on inside with JJ and Edey on the floor! Edey tested faster than Clingan in the combine on all drills but you guve Clingan an A? Are you a hypocrit? FYI, Joker and Embiid aren't athletic also
