The story of Kingdom Hearts is a lot of things, but “Simple and Clean” ain’t one of them.

Everybody in this game is either Sora, Kairi or Xehanort. Except for Xion, who's all three.

The most infuriating inaccuracy is that Kairi wasn't left EXACTLY where Sora left her. She moved like, 4 feet down the beach. Gosh xD

"Sora believes in himself, ansem turns into a boat, and the player mashes x a lot." is the single most accurate description there is

It's an irony that KH's theme song is called "simple and clean"

"Yes, but it's a lot stupider than you think and we'll get to that in a long time-- and I'm still angry about it." is basically my mood when it comes to Kingdom Hearts.

I love how this plot is so bizarre and confusing, yet my biggest question is still “WHERE are their PARENTS?!”

I actually think the “Recusant Sidgel” thing is p neat. Re-naming a person by adding what is basically a magic rune to their name to control them is a pretty slick idea, in a Spirited Away kinda’ way, especially if you can conveniently pronounce said magical rune like a letter.

You know a story is great when its own wiki uses the word "somehow" to describe a major plot point, which breaks the rules of universe it takes place in

"It's a mobile game don't worry too much about it" becomes one of the most significant plot reveals in the series

I was confused before... and I don't think I'm any less confused. Kingdom Hearts feels like a fanfiction made my a middle-schooler who likes Disney and Final Fantasy, and watches a lot of anime.

An important thing to note is that in KH2 the Secret Ansem Reports specifically state Namine is not a true Nobody. She's her own special being kind of "Nobody".
