  • Here is an adult conversation, why are Americans being forced to pay almost 1/2 trillion a year in sanctuary costs, without our vote? Why are we spending billions in worldwide grants used to being people here or to fund political groups without our vote? Why are we spending billions a yr in foreign aid slush funds without our vote? That’s the conversation I want! Our own govt has put us 35 trillion in debt then has the balls to talk about SS, Medicare or Medicaid going bankrupt! Both parties did this! Shame on all of them!
  • @kind581
Why don't you all pay back the money you have tolen from social security?
  • @jgonzalez101
Thank you Senator Chuck Grassley for speaking up for Social Security and Medicare. We, the AMERICAN Citizens have worked very hard to have both of these!
  • The government should pay back all the social security money they stole!
  • Such a gentleman who actually cares about his country and its citizens. Thankfully not a woke bone in his body.
  • @SlW-lp1ol
Medicare and ss should NEVER be under threat of not being fully funded. Put the taxpayer's money where it's supposed to go and keep your grubby hands off of it.
  • @timk.9827
We all worked hard to get social security, To cut it is wrong, I am retired for 3 years now but I am not drawing social security yet, not right
  • Illegal immigrants living like kings and queens on seniors Medicare, which is going downhill and seniors getting fewet and fewer benefits.
  • @cactusjess
The Social Security program began its downward spiral when the politicians started using it as a slush fund to fix budget overruns. It had been solvent until then. And now there aren't enough people paying into it to match the payouts to beneficiaries.
  • @runits
Nice first start with his pay, Congress makes to much money and get free healthcare. . Cut that first.
  • Remember Chuck is 90 years old, if you want to fix social security make senators and representatives go on social security instead the comfortable pension they have now.
  • @finn3408
Stop sending jobs to other countries.
  • @emmany5302
Eliminating or lifting the tax cap would shore up Social Security.
  • Lift ceiling on social security tax and medicare Apply tax all type of income so rich contribute
  • @timdykes6675
Well, you’ve been lawmaker long enough, you know, you guys stole it all and use it for other things. Now pay it back have your oligarch buddies pay it back.
  • @afvet5075
Senator Grassley has been the only one to bring up Social Security and the problems that seniors are facing. Even Trump has really rarely brought up this very important program. Do these politicians know that seniors are a force to be recking with this election?
  • @seconddodge
If you have to save money, start with the size of government, then reduce government pensions by 21%.
  • Grassley is an example of how the elderly can bring sharp wisdom to our government. He spoke to facts, not to ideology.
