This cutscene literally feels as if i were looking into a parallel universe, what cod games would have been born if this cutscene ended up actually in game?

In MW2 2009 Makarov and Price had a conversation through the radio, Makarov tells Price, “I’ll see you in hell” Price then says “Gives Zakhaev my regard if you get there first.” I believe that it is a tribute to that scene, Zakhaev greeting dead Makarov and dying Price in the afterlife. Thats just my opinion tho.

This cutscene by itself is way more interesting than anything in the Campaign of the Rebooted MWIII.

I believe the shadow man could have been a secret acolyte of Makorav and we would have gotten mw4 with a new set of characters

At least we finally have some closure knowing Price died at the end of MW3. After Makarov is hung he is in a pool of his own blood.

I think it makes a better ending that price died after killing Makarov, price said his war ends with Makarov. I like to think the smoke he blows before the screen turns black is his life exiting his body

it was Nikolai. He was in the chopper probably landed at the top seeing Yuri, hearing the sound of an elevator door probably? or stairs? Nikolai saw both Price and Makarov. Then Nikolai decides to walk away.

Man this is fucking sick. The entirety of IW cod history could’ve branched off heavily from what we got in our universe. Just thinking about the possibilities of what could’ve been different is a weird nostalgic feeling. The MW reboot could’ve been so different. It’s a shame it’s basically been put on the back burner for now.

I think blacks ops and OG MW was connected since Kravchenko KIA image in Price's board in the intro of that mission but it doesnt matter anymore since MW reboot came in the spotlight. Edit : Great vid TGR.

A faithful movie adaptation of the og mw series would just be so crazy. The plot is just that good imo

1. Could be death collecting Price soul. 2. Could be Price himself leaving his body. 3. Hallucinating Zakhaev the 1rst villain that started all, a ghost version of Zakhaev having his arm back, before Price died. 4. Yuri or Nikolai verifying if Cpt Price survived but Price died before the final version of MW3. 5. New character for a new story cuz it's a bald guy and Price maybe survived with the ambulance and a new set up begins. I mostly think it's the 3rd one. ==> Price died in this alternate universe. But Price survived in the OG MW 3. It doesnt matter this scene anymore cuz it's not canon it's a cut version before release.

Well the original ending of this footage is it’s the ghost of the young Imran Zakhaev with his arm before price fail to assassinate him in Chernobyl came to the scene and looking at price and the deceased makarov before walking away when price dies from his succumbing wounds from the heli crash and the smash glass of hanging makrarov that would be the actual end of the trilogy that he succeed winning ww3 but it cost of his life of I guess Dust to Dust original ending is both antagonist and protagonist dies

I believe the shadowman was Zakhaev, this is my reasoning: When Makarov tells Price he’ll see him in hell, Price retorts with “Give my regards to Zakhaev when you see him there.” Zakhaev is also the 4th Horseman of COD4, representing death. When Price dies, we immediately cut to a picture of the 4 members of Kingfish, mirroring the 4 Horsemen. Price’s story began and ended with Zakhaev, it makes a very nice bookend.
