Just remember one thing, we are night crawlers. We do not normally roaming around in the hot tropical sun. We do indoor during the day and outdoor at night, especially this time around where the temperature is scorching hot. Careful with heat stroke and do not let urself be part of the statistic. Stay cool and get plenty of water
  • KL is such a beautiful city! We love visiting it and find new things each time we have a look around! Enjoy your time there guys! Make sure to check out some of the other places like the National Monument! If you're into your noodles, try out Soong Kee's beef ball noodles, you won't be disappointed! Great vid guys!❤🇲🇾
  • I had a feeling you two would enjoy KL. We really enjoy that city. We have already been there for a total of three months this year. You are pretty spot on with everything you have said. We have been in Southeast Asia for a while now and have gotten pretty used to the heat. However, the great thing about Bukit Bintang is the elevated air conditioned walkways you mentioned. There are also underground air conditioned walkways that connect the malls and other places. We could literally go grocery shopping, hang out at the mall, dining, go to the movies, go to doctors appointments, etc. and barely break a sweat. I agree the sidewalks there are great compared to many other places in Southeast Asia and it's also great that many of them are covered to provide shelter from the sun and rain. The last place we stayed in Bukit Bintang had a lot of trees and we loved it. As far as transportation is concerned, Grabs are great there and the train works a charm as well. Looks like you stayed away from Jalan Alor street. You didn't miss much. Better local food and experiences can be had elsewhere. Thanks for sharing your experience of KL. Safe travels on your way to Singapore.

Welcome to Kuala Lumpur, The different between KL vs Bangkok or Ho Chin Min City is that the Majority of Malaysian you meet in KL can speak !😊
  • KL is ideal for seeing outdoor life at night when it's not hot everyone will be outside

    ❤Malaysia 🇲🇾 & Kuala Lumpur/"KL" = Truly Asia❣

Our life in KL for 8 months- living in a constant state of being drenched. Either with sweat, due to the insane humidity- or by the constant rain (like clockwork) every day. 😂 KL is definitely not the most walkable city (unless you're downtown), and the transit isn't the greatest in Asia, but it's an absolutely amazing place. A lot of great food, and has an East meets West vibe. Lots of comforts from home, but still feels very diverse and beautiful. We seriously miss it there! ❤
  • Bukit = hill Bintang = star Jalan = street/road Menara = tower Negara = national (can also means country) Nasi = rice Mee = noodles Ayam = chicken Terima = take/accept Kasih = love, care Terima kasih = thank you

Malaysia is so beautiful and super diverse. Try going penang, melaka, langakwi and putrajaya. Each has its charm.
  • Awesome video! Malaysia is an amazing place! The food is fantastic. I think Nonya food is a hidden gem that isn't well-known in the US, but some roti canai and a big bowl of laksa are always great. Full massages aren't my thing at all, but a food massage after walking around all day is perfect and they are cheap enough in SE Asia that you can easily get one a day.
  • Cool video KL is my favourite city and I have been to many of the tourist places there plus it is very green with beautiful parks in the centre. And Bangkok is my 2nd favourite city.
  • @nomadjim
Wow, you stayed in The Robertson, my favorite place to stay in KL. And you say you were there in early May, staying in an apartment on the 43rd floor. Guess what...I was in an apartment with the same view as you at the same time but on the 41st floor! Incredible I never ran into you. I noticed the lack of motorbikes as well compared to other places in Southeast Asia, and how it is much quieter because people rarely honk their horns. KL is really a great city. Thank you for sharing your experiences there!
  • Great video, we really enjoyed KL as well. We did the Hop on Hop off, It was our first time and we loved it., especially with the heat! The malls are outrageous in a good way, A/C and browsing! Glad to see the stairs are repainted, they were white when we were there. Enjoy!
  • @goodguyaus
Love that you guys mentioned the "clockwork" daily albeit brief storms - KL has some of the craziest lightning and thunder of any capital I've been too (I'm easily amused!). Thank you for the well-researched and practical info (particularly for walking sightseers).
  • Forecasted that the weather is going to be really hot until August in Malaysia. Hotter than normal. Just a reminder.
  • @advisory1976
I suggest both of you to visit Putra Jaya if both of you are coming back to Malaysia in the future.. 😊❤
