Nicole Kidman received a Life Achievement Award from the American Film Institute on April 27. Since she is the first Australian actor to receive the award—she is 56 years old—the recognition deserved to be lavished.
Thus, Sunday, 15, and Faith, 13, joined their parents on the red carpet for the first time ever on behalf of Nicole and husband Keith Urban. Nicole's sister and their cousins joined the two stunning young ladies, making the evening a true family gathering.
"There's an enormous amount of luck in my life, but there's also the most important thing — love, big, big love," Nicole Kidman said as she won the Life Achievement Award, highlighting how significant the evening was for her family. "Right there is the love of my life and the loves of my life," she said to the assembly, gesturing to her family's table. Sunday and Faith, my daughters, are here because they have never before been anywhere in public with me on a red carpet; this was their first night.
Naturally, the fact that certain faces were missing from the table was observed. Nicole's adored mother came first. Sadly, Nicole had to witness the event from home, but she still received a special message from Nicole.

It was heartbreaking to hear these two kids whom she adopted and cared for in their younger years did not even make the effort to show up in support of her achievement, as a sign of their appreciation for the love she showered them in the past. Their ingratitude was discouraging to those who have any plans of adopting. Their blind loyalty to their father and their religion was appalling.
