You found some sigils and spells. One of the boxes was full of ceremonial apparatus for casting spells and incantations - it might sound silly but I would not take that stuff back to your home. Its not something you should mess with....

Others have probably told you, but a pentagram in a circle is a pentacle. Wicca/other Neo-Pagen religions use it. It can be used as a symbol of connections/life. A pentagram is a regular 5-pointed star polygon. I’m reading up on it, lol. Interesting. It’s been used throughout history. Like a symbol of Jerusalem, health by Pythagoreans, and a Christian symbol for the 5 senses. Oh. I remember this next one. It was in the poem Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. It was on Gawain’s shield.

That piece of brass with a point on the end and string wrapped around it is called a plumb bob. It is used to find a plumb spot down from you have a designated spot from above to the ground down below. Something that is level is laying flat or nailed and plumb is something standing up.

Just for the record, there is a difference between wicca, witchcraft and the occult. It depends on the individual practitioner on what path they choose to follow. Do not throw those away, something might be attached to those items. The best thing to do is bury the items, deep enough, so that no else can use them for darker reasons, somewhere away from your own house and family.

Zooarchaeologist here. You've got several deer skulls and limb bones. The smaller skulls look like raccoon and maybe opossum. Definitely could sell the lot for crafting.

It's a pentacle. It's used in wicca, not bad stuff always. Upside down star is a pentagram, sometimes used in devil worship.
