Since the Meiji era (1868-1912), Tezukayama has been known as one of the most exclusive residential areas in Osaka Prefecture, where wealthy people have built their mansions and villas. Today, under strict building regulations, the area's beautiful residential landscape has been refined.
Cherry blossoms in full bloom at night were enjoyed at Bandaiike Park.
The area is home to the famous Sumiyoshi Taisha shrine, designated as a Japanese national treasure and has long been worshipped as the god of navigation and the god of ports.
