I was in front row at Milwaukee Wisconsin at a bar when they played. I was 8 months pregnant, the crowd kept pushing forward and Robin stopped playing, and told the crowd we have a pregnant lady up front so stop pushing. He gave me a wink then continued. Loved it! Total respect. My son now is a drummer in a rock band!

Robin Zander is one of the ALL TIME greatest lead singers ever!!!
  • Robin Zander has an unbelievable voice, so big and powerful, just fills up the room with reverberating joy!
  • Robin is such an excellent vocalist. His vocals have remained strong over the years as well.

might not be the coolest..or the raunchiest...or the prettiest...but damn if it's not one of the Best Songs ever written in the great CT catalog
  • @Choc1Joe
It's a great song but what pushes it into the level of greatness is Robin's vocal....just wonderful. Should have been a huge hit.

  • First saw these guys in 86 supporting Motley Crue in Scotland, Cheap Trick wiped the floor with the crue. Awesome.
  • @Carrots43
Always liked the concept of Cheap Trick, two cool guys and two nerdy guys form a cool band.

Ah, the summer of 1985. I was a year out of Carl Hayden High School in Phoenix. I was working at a recently opened Burger King at Central and Roeser. Oh to be 19 again.
