This interview showed me that the people you help immensely, won't always help you when you need it.
  • @BurgBoy7
“You can’t expect YOU from other people” sums up this conversation.
  • @SimoneStyle
Jess being a part of this interview was really refreshing and beautiful to watch. She prioritized Tyrese being heard and supported him, validating his feelings. Tyrese communicates well, and has taken accountability. His composure and maturity here is why this interview was successful. Heart to heart conversations aren’t easy, but he pushed through all the joking and belittling to stand his ground and honor God while doing doing so. Super proud of him. ❤

Envy's response to Tyrese is the reason why most people don't want to go the extra mile for others. Someone does something against character means you call and make an effort because they've shown you that they are willing to do the same for you.
  • @ChelleB65
Very powerful message from Tyrese about showing reciprocating love amongst real friends. His personal issues were clowned on social media.
  • @crystalscott6274
Jess did really well with this interview, she validated feelings, kept things moving and was respectful towards Tyrese
  • @bettatheproducer
People with Big hearts such as Tyrese. Will most likely never come across the same type of love they give out. It’s un matched.
  • @markmcbride9039
Some black men don't want no real friends. Tyrese you are a real man. You apologize in front of the whole world and showed the world how to be a man and hold yourself accountable. We the fans love you👍🙏

Envy get crazy when he thinks someone disrespected his wife but the irony is, he's disrespected her the most. 🤦🏾‍♀️
  • @TheAfricanPie
Envy: “Tyrese helped me at my absolute lowest moment in life.” Tyrese: “Forgive me, I was at my lowest.” Envy: “Nah.”
  • @shelliegordon8990
I have a new found respect for Tyrese. He's sensitive but a real man in my opinion. He confronted Envy in the most peaceful way possible. He was methodical without any yelling and foul words
  • @zeekwatts3323
When Tyrese said “how convenient” it was over lol
  • @CloudieMcDoom
Dude... when Tyrese asked, "Why is my marriage funny?" with that much hurt & betrayal in his eyes I almost cried for him.
  • @The_Truth777
One thing Tyrese needs to accept, which took me a decade or two to accept, is that not everybody can be like you. The grace you give, not everyone is wired to have.
  • @Sheillaakwara
Jess, you are needed. If you were not there this interview would’ve been a mess with lots of insensitivity to those facing mental health battles. Ultimately, this conversation was/is needed. How Charlemagne and DJ Envy acted is sadly how most folks in society act. We really need to work on not holding grudges and extending grace, but at the same time, we need to be like Tyrese and just own up to the parts we need to own up to. Tyrese is a believer. God will continue to help him.
  • @Obsidian0Sky
Damn bro. That hurt my heart when Ty said he didn't appreciate essentially what Envy DIDINT do for him, when he went through something so tragic, when he literally did the MOST to help Envy. Damn that got me choked up. Great reminder to be a better friend and don't be lie Envy.
  • @tenika_bombae5045
Ty ain't lying, when you have a big heart, don't expect people to love you the way you love them and it hurts each and every time.
  • @more4sure609
Great interview. Jess was so respectful to Tyrese’s feelings and she definitely kept things moving in the right direction. Keep Jess on the show.
  • @christavinson
Tyrese is spot on! We need to bring back real love and vulnerability to music.
  • This is a prime example of how some people will take (Envy) & some people will give (Tyrese). Words are powerful…DJ Envy is definitely a very ENVIOUS individual…as my grandma says…”Keep on Living”…God Bless You Tyrese 🙏🏾❤
