  • As a Mennonite and coming from a large mennonite and English family. My dad is mennonite and my mom is English. Us four girls would do all the cooking for breakfast and lunch and dinner and desserts for us nine kids and our parents we go do up 3 dozen eggs for breakfast 4 lb of bacon and 6 loaf of bread and 2 lb for fruit for breakfast.our parents would write out the meals plan for the month and and our girls name down that girl would have to drive the cooking and baking for that month. The day that we have to cook eggs we would go to our chicken barn and get the eggs and count the eggs for 3 dozen. My brothers had to go to the cows barn to milk the cows and bring the milk into the house and we would take the cream off the top of the milk we use for cream to make homemade butter and cheese and yogurt and ice cream.
  • You have a special ministry. You are saving us too by inspiring us to cook, pull ourselves up and keep moving and working through….lots older than you but, forever a grateful student of good people.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️🙌🏻

Do anybody else smile when she looks at the camera. Of course she is seeing I'd it's recording, but I always smile back at her(like she can see me). Lol.
  • It’s good to see you coming back to the life you thrive in. I think I told you we lost our son last August . I think my grief is getting easier to bear as well. No, it won’t go away-it’ll always be with us but it’s a part of my life I loved deeply and am very thankful for the time we had with our precious son. ❤

Sitting here, just snuggling my one-week-old baby. I had hyperemesis through this pregnancy (meaning I was throwing up, non-stop) and I couldn't watch any food videos. So, I've had to miss most of your videos for the past 8 months. I have a lot of catching up to do which is just fine because I also have a lot of nursing to do. I've missed you and I'm so happy to be back right when you're really hitting your stride and feeling 'back', too! ❤❤ My other kids call you "the Aunty with lots of kids". So, they will happily join me in catching up. 😂

I smile every time I see the stained glass birds in your window. 😌🕊
  • Elementary and middle school you would be so proud of the home you have created for your family
  • You have such a kind soul. My days of raising children is long over but I really enjoy your channel.
  • @mrsvto
Look at you putting all the videos out! I’m proud of you.
  • I can tell that you have turned a corner. I can feel the joy radiating off of you and it’s wonderful to see it again! You are an inspiration. I’m so glad you’re feeling better. Not that you forget or that you’re not having moments of sadness, but, you deserve the best and you deserve happiness. Jesus loves you.
  • Jamerrill, I’m SO proud of you. (& who else is this beautiful in the morning with no makeup but this little blue eyed mama?!)💙💙

Thanks for doing this video today. I was having a hard time with grief and really needed it. ❤
  • I could be having the worst day. But you pop up, and it's an instant smile on my face. Thank you for being you ❤❤❤
  • I am so glad to see you finding your own in this new journey. You have been an inspiration to so many of us. I know you have been for me. Not only just the cooking but how you have handled yourself through your struggles. I am loving that you are getting your spark back!
  • Your therapist is right. Mine was 38 yrs.ago and I've moved on, but am still healing
  • My house loves some bacon grease too for eggs and other cooking fun! Absolutely love how you have embraced this new chapter in your life! You are living your best life! ❤
  • I have been watching your channels for years. I can’t even tell you how much you have inspired me to just keep going. I came from small beginnings and childhood trauma and when I had my kids I wanted their lives to be different. When I chose to homeschool your videos helped me feel so less alone when I knew no one doing the same. I have since found a co op near me and amazing homeschooling mama’s full of support and love. I have also been on a journey of healing and your videos have just been such an encouragement to not give up. You truly are a survivor and when I think of you and your story I think of you “ It seemed impossible, but God.”
  • I'm so happy to hear you are seeing and feeling the healing. Keep it going, girl! Can't wait to see more ❤🙏
