Legit camera work, no CGI effects, precision driving, actual stunts, great sound track and fine acting. This movie was highly underrated! Could watch it over and over! ❤

Head-on collision, both cars doing 100+, gigantic explosion, parts strewn everywhere, Vette is a burned-out shell of a car. Driver completely intact with no apparent injuries except his clothes came off and now he's dead. Gotta love 80s movies.

I remember going to the theater to watch this with my then girlfriend. I wanted the car, she wanted Charlie. As of today, I don't think either of us got what we wanted.

Watched this movie on late 80`s, on a Betamax tape in Cuba when I was 15 years old. Still love it.

I like how Clint Howard just kinda shows up all over the 80s.

I love the unexplained backstory of the movie. Some really fun story prompts lead off from the cryptic hints we're been dropped.
