I'm hoping that one of the new T-shirts says "Polishing, polishing, polishing".

Premier guitar/instrument “repairman”, a mathematician with a major in geometry, a mechanic, electrician, woodworker with a vast knowledge of woods used in instruments, a chemist who works with different adhesives and finishes all the while having to gauge and balance what they can do to the original finish ,a historian and more all combined with an eye toward the art of the instrument itself. To combine all of these , or better said , to coordinate them to work in harmony and achieve the desired end result is seemingly overwhelming but this man pulls it off time and again. True masters are few and far between and we’re fortunate we can pull up YouTube and watch this man work.

As if Ted couldn't get any more awesome, he's also a Behind The Bastards fan. You sir, are a legend.
  • I have a much loved Dan Electro that suffered a headstock break many years ago and was languishing in its case on the top of the wardrobe for years. I finally - and inspired by Ted managed to repair it. I glues it up, let it sit, the routed two channels on either side of the trussrod, then made inserts from Tasmanian Oak / Mountain Ash, and these just clicked into the routes. I shaped the inserts down to the neck and refinished using model aircraft satin lacquer, Now I have my guitar back and it's awesome. I'm so proud of myself, and have years of watching Ted's videos to thank. I'll buy some stickers for its case

Oh blimey, Raytheon. I had an interview for them here in the UK about fifteen years ago. They actually asked me how I felt about my work potentially causing the deaths of people and the I thought "naw, I'm out".
  • @andybettistube
"If it ain't broke don't break it" has been the unofficial team motto at my work for the past few months. Thanks for that.

Nothing quite makes a Sunday like a new relaxing video from Ted.
  • @lasvegasira
I’ve been a fan of your channel for a while. And now, your sticker campaign has moved you to the top of my favorite YouTube channel list. Thank you for being a good human being on top of a talented luthier.
  • @nascargas

This channel should have multi-million subscribers! This man is a treasure and resource to so many of us! C'mon people, share these with ANYONE associated with stringed instruments! You know what he means to you! He ain't loaded up with ads or BS! Just share this channel with 2 other people! Ask them to share if they are as entertained/ educated by them as you! Hey Ted, I'm just an Ozark hillbilly but, I thank you for ALL you do! (polishing, polishing, polishing) 😁
  • @Sammywhat
Good "counteraction," Ted. This world can often be a messy place to live. Guys like you are a blessing and make living in it better. No doubt.
  • @valjammin
You're a wonderful human, Ted. Thank you for your videos.
  • @stuartcatt4520
When a favourite youtuber mentions a favourite podcast, the algorithm has you all figured out
  • @Pheonixco
The man listens to Behind the Bastards. Would have never guessed.
  • @planespeaking
Love that stamp, good on you for your charitable donations. Having a personal connection with those affected really dispels the dehumanisation of innocent victims.
  • @jamesmarkham7489
Ted I’ve been a big fan for a while. But I loved everything you said today.
  • @dustmundo
Fully support what you’re saying brother. Rock on.
  • @dannoall8427
Firstly, thanks for mentioning Chris Murphy and Sloan. Fab band and musicians. Secondly, I'll be ordering a sticker right away. "Envelope stuffing. Envelope stuffing. Envelope stuffing..."
