Those recently infected would exhibit aggression, rage, and emotional instability as well as a ton of other life altering symptoms. Hey, so a bit of a misconception you've purported in this video. Thanks to pre-release videos, we know the progression for DL2's Infected. All Infected start as Virals that will always become Volatiles if they remain living in darkness for long enough. If Virals have too much UV exposure before becoming Volatiles, they become Biters instead. And if exposed to chemicals that were used on Villedor before progressing to Volatiles, they instead become Special Infected variants like Howlers, Goons, Banshees, etc.
