  • This man is a machine. An actual machine. He has made a passing interest in chess into one of my main hobbies in less than six months. Witty, insightful and damn enjoyable to watch. Not to mention his relentless upload schedule, if you haven’t subscribed yet, do it. He deserves the love.

Legend has it that on move 7 of the Berlin Defense Kramnik whispered: "Oh no, my queen!"
  • @Xploiter
So early that Levy forgot to change Gary “Kasparov” to Gary Chess
  • @asherstrell3247
Those days without Gotham content were so long thank you YouTube for monetizing him again
  • @fitechess
You missed that Kasparov stopped playing the KID just a few years prior due to Kramnik dismantling it with the Bayonet attack. A testament to how strong Kramnik was at preparation to neuter two of Kasparov’s favorite openings with both white and black.
  • @AlfoNso-ms4of
“Kasparov accidentally bludering his queen, but he luckily survives tacking Kramnik’s queen back” LOL
  • @skizzyyy22
clicked faster than blundering a rook on move 6
  • @danielflynn2053
“I’m going to take my broken arm and slap you across the face with it” -Levy 2021
  • @keshavbhola2236
Kasparov was such a strong player they literally had to bore him to death by neutralizing his e4 attacking openings with Berlin. I feel him as a player who hates slow and boring games.
  • Imagine training your whole life and holding your world title for decades just to draw a kid a few years later who celebrated in McDonalds.
  • @oniflrog4487
Vlad the Impaler... overhauled the Berlin Wall... made Garry drop the King's Indian... what a legend!
  • @BenRook
Enjoyed the retrospective...Kramnik's contributions to opening theory in several openings was immense and can't be overstated.
  • @ABLYamimash3
14:57 "Same exact position". That's incredible. Billions of combinations of pieces and yet a repeat.
  • @bobbob-xg8jg
Clicked as fast as a 1600 rated player hanging a piece on move 6
  • @maxl4934
I love the historical analysis!!! Thank you so much Levy!! I have been waiting for so long for someone to do this on YouTube
  • @Amay5
I just watched your englund gambit video and you just uploaded another one, this seems way better than sleeping
  • @iamilf
