The Didgeridoo featured in this video, is a live recording which afterwards has been processed & mixed with several soothing soundscapes, to simulate & enhance the feeling of the wide, open spaces of the Australian outback.

♡ About the Didgeridoo playing
How is the Didgeridoo player able to play the instrument, without any “gaps” in the drone? The Didgeridoo player uses a special technique called “circular breathing” to maintain a continuous sound. The player snorts quickly through the nose, while still blowing air outwards with the mouth. You can practice this with a glass of water & a straw, blowing air into the water while quickly snorting through the nose:-) and transferring this to a real Didgeridoo later.

♡ Possible health benefits of playing didgeridoo:
Studies have shown that playing the Didgeridoo can reduce snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, by strengthening the muscles in the upper airway. Another study showed improvements in asthma, due to the technique of “circular breathing” (see the above info)

♡ ABOUT THE DIDGERIDOO TRACK
I processed the live recording and added several gongs and bowls, together with some relaxing soundscapes. You can use the track for various purposes, meditation journeys, regaining positive energy, healing your root chakras or for sleeping. Headphones are recommended but not required.

♡ THANKS FOR LISTENING

My name is Martin Sjolte Starson and the founder of MusicMindMagic. I am a pianist, composer, Hypnotherapist and author. I have an MD in Musicology. My vision with this channel is to create peaceful, uplifting, calm music, that you can relax to anywhere you like. The music I compose is quite simple, with simple but peaceful beautiful melody lines. Some would call it meditation music, others mindful music or just music to relax to.

I would like to thank you for listening and visiting my channel and maybe leaving some feedback/new ideas/comments/ for me. The feedback is very important and I can use it to improve my music.

Peace & relaxation from Martin Sjolte Starson

This recoding helps calm my newborn daughter when nothing else works! I first put it on when nine months pregnant and she was kicking super hard, and by some divine inspiration/ mother-fetus communication/ ancestral knowledge, I thought of searching didgeridoo and came across this track. It calmed both of us down then and does ever since.
  • Nothing compares. Just beautiful and relaxing. The aboriginals are amazing.

What are the odds? I got my didgeridoo just yesterday and now watching videos past midnight, I come across this wonderful meditation posted exactly 3 years ago... thank you.
  • The sound is like very deep relaxed words to activate the creative artists higher capacity or enlarged response to clear thinking

The best thing about this meditation music is that you can still hear it well when you're in the bath with your ears underwater.
  • I lost my job because of the pandemic, so I started a youtube channel about meditation health and well being. Wish me luck!
