Sonic IDW Issue 70-71 (Discussion)- "Surge and Kit's Riders Gear and Phantom Rider Story Spoilers!"

I want Sonic Riders 4 NOW! 😭

I could see a scenario where Sonic ends up knocked out of the competition by whatever means, but goes undercover in order to keep an eye on Surge and Kit.

The Phantom Racer is Sonic AND Mimic. Sonic took on a secret identity, but Mimic is trying to make him look bad.

They all look so cool; especially Surge and Kit, but my favorite outfit has to be Tangle’s!

Here is an idea. What if Sonic was setup to be trapped inside the Phantom Rider suit? And Mimic then takes the form of Sonic, but also wear actual gloves and hell even colored eye contacts. (Switching roles to frame the Real Sonic.)

Keep in mind issue 75 May be the next idw sonic milestone with our last one being issue 50! We are about to be 25 issues away FROM ISSUE 100. Issue 75 should be BIG.

I just hope that given how long this arc is going to be, some of the other characters get brought in on the action along the way. Especially since there are quite a few of them (Gemerl, Omega, Silver, Blaze, the Chaotix minus Vector) who have never even been involved in the story mode of any of the actual Riders games

New cover just released. It turns out mimic is framing "THE PHANTOM RIDER" hes not sonic hes just a racer maybe a famous one thats why in the new cover there's two riders.

Hopefully after the arc she eventually wears her riders outfit as a secondary outfit not just the main one!

I like the Diamond Cutters looks and Rider outfits so cool, Surge and Kit too. Phantom Rider, kind of give me the one robot that Boom Eggman made in Sonic Boom. Duo aka Mimic as the Phantom Rider yup, more mayhem and Phantom Rider is Sonic? Classic comic lores try to make us think about how characters are the mysterious ones who they really are. Idk how Clutch's plans work out, but his fomer friends, the Babylon Rogues, aren't being happy. What Clutch paying the Phantom Rider and the Babylon Rogues don't they probably help them who Duo really is? Tails and Amy's mission is their main goal, who is the Phantom Rider and also Surge and Jet. The birds will he roasted wings when they don't mess with her and Kit. Thank you for the video.

I'm loving both Surge & Kits Riders Gear they look just awesome Indeed and the rest of the other riders outfits as well. The Phantom Rider Story (Arc) Its going to be excited one to read as well :) I cant wait to read the finale of Fang the Hunter Issue #4 mini series 1 May and then moving back to the mainline IDW Sonic comics to read this brand new story arc. Been a fan of the series since started back In April 2018 and have my own physical IDW Comics of 223 different variant covers & digital as well from Kindle app. I always look forward to reading a IDW Sonic comic each month :)

With all these new riders designs that there making, maybe a new riders game IS coming in the future? If so I'm so excited!

Perhaps Sonic disguised himself as the Phantom Racer because Surge is in the race. They must be planning to perform a social experiment to get her to change her ways. If she knows Sonic’s in the race, it could ruin everything.

Hey, here’s my theory. The phantom rider can’t be Mimic, It’s too obvious. Plus, as a spy, competing in a race is dangerous and risky for him to focus on his form and ride a gear at the same time. And as you recall from Tangle and Whisper, Mimic wouldn’t risk his life that often. As for Sonic being the Phantom Rider, well, here’s the thing. The Phantom rider is clearly a hedgehog, even though his armour resembles Tails’s arch enemy, Speedy from Tails’s adventure, but I don’t think it’s Sonic. No, I think it’s someone from Sonic’s past, the one we never heard of. I mean, there’s been multiple origin stories about Sonic, most of them are about him having a different name, being Eggman’s assistant, getting caught in an explosion that gave his powers and changing his name. It’s possible he’s some long lost relative of his, who just revealed his real name to his friends. Sonic has never exactly got a proper origin story, at least not in the games.

The only secret I’m interested in is Surge and Kit’s identities.

Personal theroy: Sonic's not even involved in this arc. He's either not interested, on vacation, or outright band from competing as the fastest thing alive. Its just Mimic the whole time doing mind games. 😂
