Lower Limb Neurological Examination - Clinical Skills - Dr Gill

Often neurological issues will affect the limbs, so the "complete" neuro examination can be considered to be split into three sections:
- The Cranial Nerve Examination
- The Upper Limb Neurological Examination
- The Lower Limb Neurological Examination

Today we follow the Appearance, Tone, Power, Reflexes, Sensation and Coordination approach to the neuro exam for the lower limbs

Some people watching this video may experience an ASMR type phenomenon

The best part about these videos is that they actualy show real a real doctor working and the ""ASMR"" is just a side effect. And yes the ✨️magic✨️ socks 😂

At this point, Megan Strothers must be the most thoroughly examined person in the West Midlands region. She is definitely a very good sport. (Thank you, Doctor, for another excellent video.)
  • "Your body's ability to determine where it is spatially is based on your vision, foot placement, and inner ear. We've removed your vision for this one... excellent, now we're going to remove your feet..."

Dr. Gill, not sure if you’ve ever considered it, but I’d be interested in videos covering some of the latest medical journal publications you’ve found interesting. Almost like a mini review lecture! Anyone else?

It’s like a thing now with the socks. I think he does it on purpose to mess with us.
