107 mph? Clipped the other car passing it? We see these morons every day here in Tampa, weaving in and out of traffic 30, 40 or 50 mph over the speed limit. They expose everyone in their path to injury and death.

12 years? That woman had a lot more than 12 left to live, he needs to be locked up for the rest of his life.

It's crazy how the drunk drivers often survive, but the victims are seriously hurt, or lose their lives. And I understand 12 years is 12 years, but he got off kinda light after he shattered that family. I feel like 15 to 20 years should be the minimum for such reckless, senseless, dangerous behavior.

They shouod get the same type of sentence as someone who commits murder 2 imo. 12 years is a joke.

I went to court for a suspended license. I Watched the judge hand out slaps on the wrist for DUI traffic stops. The problem is that their is no consequences until someone dies. I think the court is obligated to leniency, because of its own history.... But i also think that they treat it to lightly if their isn't a fatality

Only 12 yrs? The lady looked like in her 40’s, in the state of Florida, people live to their 80’s and 90’s.

So easy to get a uber or he could of had the friend who spoke up in court should of called him to come get your drunk ass😤

Recklessly did what he did but now wants leniency. What a nerve.

Why is the defendants family giving impact statements? Killing people with your vehicle when drunk should be murder.
  • Everyone knows you're not supposed to be driving if you've been drinking! I see people doing this all the time. They'll be sitting around with their buddies drinking for hours, then get in their vehicles with can of beer in their hand and drive off! They're not worried about whose life or lives will be lost due to their drinking! They think they're so cool, drunk, showing off by speeding! Then they expect others to feel sorry for them when they caused someone's death?

I can tell he is scared of prison and no credit for time served
  • No mercy. Its called consequences for your actions. Its called accountability. Its called being an adult. His careless, reckless and law breaking act took the life of an innocent human being. No mercy.
