I’m 33. Been playing games since I was 5. That’s 28 years of playing games. And this is easily top 3 best games I’ve ever played. Literally incredible. The ending made me cry man.

Me at about 93% completion, hmm yeah what should I do first.

How amazing would it be if they had a companion system. Imagine picking your own puppy and raising it to be a full blown hunting machine.

I highly recommend playing this game twice. I played it 14 months ago when it first came out. It still took me 6 weeks to complete but after a while I got engrossed in the main story that I missed many side missions without realising. I’m now roaming around as much as possible, investigating every plume of smoke, every little building. It’s worth it, there’s Easter eggs and little gems in 9/10 places that you take your curiosity. So if you’re thinking of playing it a second time, do what I’m doing. You’ll appreciate the game so much more.

That particular one at emerald ranch will be locked until you complete that mission but other fences will be available to use to buy, craft, and sell things. You can go to Rhodes or saint denis to use a fence.

To find the gold bar: Limpamy is Southwest not Southeast of Horseshoe Overlook as he says. It will be North of Flatneck station and east if Dakota river. It will look like a clump of beige blocks outlined in black on your map. Easiest way head all the way west (left) of Horseshoe Overlook till you find a river. Don't cross it. Head south (down) on the main road that runs along the river (thick black line on map). On your left hand side will be a burnt out town, that will be Limpamy.

Go,and tame the Arabian horse as early as you can, it’s a bit tricky to do but save your game beforehand and you can just try again if it rums away. It’s free and it has the best stats of any horse in the game, if you bond with it and use it the whole game by chapter 5 or so it’ll be maxed out. Also, buy the best stirrups, they make the horses stamina drain 50% slower.

Important tip: when you're out in the world, you can fast travel by setting up a campfire. Took me a long time to figure that one out, and I was just riding everywhere like a loser.

It is still the best game I’ve played so far...(2020)
