a story following the lives of two modern day college students with hearing loss - one deaf, and one mild-to-moderate hearing loss - and despite their unique differences, both girls demonstrate how disability is not an inability or a limitation - but an opportunity to illustrate extraordinary capabilities in vibrant ways.

Kaylee associates with both the hearing world and the deaf world and finds that she lacks a role model that identifies with the same position as she does. Kayla associates with both the hearing world and the deaf world as well, but finds that she lacks a friend who can understand both sides like she does. The two eventually meet and discuss their views. Turns out together they are the answers to the inspiration they've been looking for.
