Good to hear the opinions from tourists around the world! Yes, there are very big gab between rich /middle class and poor people in Thailand. The longer you stay ,the more you will see the layers and classes of Thai's society.

It’s interesting to hear someone say they don’t feel safe in Bangkok. Though when I think back to my first time years ago I had a wrong perception too - but now I love it here, push past the perception and tourist zones and discover it’s a wonderful and very safe place.
