In this video Marco explains two methods of creating PDF's in Glide. One for people on the free plan, and simpler/faster one for people on a higher plan with access to Glides API. Both variations allow you to create virtually Unlimited PDF's for free, there are no paid PDF generator services, they use Glides tables instead of a Google Sheets Table (which means there's zero sync lag), the PDF's themselves can have custom privacy settings, and since the PDF's are stored in Google drive these PDF's have zero impact on you Glide Storage limits. I'm not sure if they changed anything since this video was posted, but unfortunately it's not possible to do it in the free plan. The 3rd step in the action requires to Trigger webhook which is unavailable in the free plan. I have to be in one of their paid plans to use that feature!

Create PDF's in Glide 2.0 : Trigger webhook is'nt aviable in free plan (Glide Free Plan Variantion).

This is superb! Always trying to get decent PDFs from my Airtable / Glide data. Do you know if there is a way to group rows - as you can in an Airtable collection?

Hey, Marco. Fantastic tutorial, thanks big time! You may not be aware, but you have helped me countless times via Glide's Community; so, thanks again! But now, unfortunatly, I'm stuck in Google Drive's "Upload a File" step on Make side: it keeps generating PDF from the raw template I created (the one with all those {{name}} and other codes), it isn't generating PDF from the modified document with user's data that is created from the Google Docs 'Download a Document' step. To sum up, every step in Make is working fine; I can modify my template using {{name}} codes fetching real data sent by Glide's Webhook, but Google's Drive "Upload a File" step is not generating PDF of the correct file (the one with data sent from Glide), it is generating PDF of the raw template file (the one with {{name}} codes). What am I doing wrong, can you enlighten me? Thanks again, you are the best!
