Tom, I’m 66, been playing since I was 14, paid my dues in the 70’s and 80’s in bars, usually with a trio. You sir, are truly the finest guitarist I’ve ever heard….thanks for sharing your talent.

7:00 love it. Reminds me of one of my favorite Mark Twain quotes, "When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years."

Tom, I’m listening to this in the hospital right now! My wife is about to give birth to our first son! P.S we might have conceived him listening to Plexi Soul 😜
  • There is something truly special to be able to just sit down and play actual music like we see, for Free, consistently from Tom.

When asked what I wanted for my 50th birthday...My reply seriously was "a large dumpster parked in front of my garage"...nobody took me seriously, but I wasn't kidding. Some will understand.

The comment on Hispanic Pop followed by the amazing ability to throw off a wicked Steve Howe passage at will is why this has become my go to spot to be entertained/inspired/educated...who else is gonna do that? Nobody!

On tour right now, backs aching, tired as fuck, agitated ….but Uncle Larry always finds a way to soothe me. ❤
  • @iasoccerdad
Not the caliber of player that you are uncle Larry but at my age (77) I’m just grateful that I still get to gig once or twice a month and that I don’t play too bad once my arthritic and carpal tunnel hands loosen up… your so right about the other times in life… enjoy your videos completely…thanks! 😎🎸🎶
  • Spot on about Creative Studio vs. Corporate. The power of inspiration is sadly lost on a lot of people. Thanks for the inspiration uncle Larry!!
  • @Mark-fo3hx
You nailed it Tom. You start life out thinking you know everything and the longer you’re around the more you realize you don’t know shit. The wisdom of life
  • Uncle Larry’s anecdotes are equally as entertaining as his guitar playing.
  • @Taffafilms
It's not the guitar...nor the amp neither the player...is the soul that creates these beauty pieces...much love
  • My 71 monte carlo was the nicest driving car ever! I got out of bars in the eighties, five 45 minute sets 5 and 6 days a week, 50 bucks a night, but usually 16 bucks a night after they deducted my heinekens, and that was after the free drinks. I quit and got my first fixer property. $5000 with 1000 down and 200 per month. With it came a letter saying the buyer would get sued by the county. Luckily it never happened. Im glad i got into real estate because all my old bandmates are getting by on some type of fairly limited income living in Shacks, im currently living in a shack but playing a 57 goldtop. Different curves for different pervs. Hey thats a song title!
  • @Roarwhy0710
Not ace frehley, or tom scholz, or slash, or joe perry..YOU make me want a Gold top. Your videos literally makes EVERY SINGLE one of my days better!!!
  • @TheRange7
I had a Montecarlo just like that in a poop brown sparkle with a tan vinyl top. LOL What a ride. Good morning Tom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter and her husband are both in their 30's. Proud to say that they are both pretty successful AND they are great people who care more about people than material crap.
