  • We got lucky and Southgate gets praise for his total lack of decision making, pathetic
  • @Craig.229
This is the problem. We are awful and clueless with no direction but we get lucky and then the praise comes in. It’s ridiculous
  • @paulhynes170
yet if Bellingham did not score all the shows on here tomorrow would have been talking about why he did not make changes earlier
  • @Slice998
A moment of pure magic prevented this from being one of the most disastrous results in England’s history. Let’s not pretend as though anything that happened was by Southgate’s design. He’s an incredibly average and lucky coach.
  • @Brearo
I’m actually embarrassed to celebrate that win… Bellingham’s interview after the game made me want to cut up my passport
  • Sorry indefensible - knowing we got to score then putting on Toney for the last 2 minutes a a joke when he should have come on 20 minutes earlier.
  • @beast4517
Terrible tactics and decision making…. Saved by individual brilliance
  • @markeast4647
SOUTHGATE had no idea what was going to happen ! It wasn't even a Hail Mary decision. It was inexplicable!!! 2 minutes to go ?? WTF!!!
  • @rLxJake
Southgate has no balls. He needs man up and drop Foden… or Bellingham but I would drop Foden.
  • @bookillful
Kane playing a ball into the box to Foden says it all. Southgate is a donkey brained sharp dresser.

We’ve used up all our luck for the tournament on Slovakia! Need good performances now!

“Saka hasn’t done enough on the right” by your own admission he’s working with two absolute donkeys in Kane and walker, coupled with having about 7 different RCM’s over 4 games, what is he meant to do. Still offers himself for passes, tries to dribble, cuts inside, takes on a 1v1. All palmer has done is get a runout against a tiring Slovenia and lob in a dozen hopeful balls against Slovakia.
  • When the squad was announced I suspected issues. The team lacks balance! You are coached from a very young age how to set up in shape, how to move in shape, positional play, starting positions, distances and angles and from the first game in this tournament the team shape, movement as a unit, discipline to regain shape and get compact when out of possession and position has been shocking. Kane, Foden, Trippier and Bellingham have all been trying to operate in the same half space area on the left, check out the pass maps and heat maps of each of them and they are all identicle
  • @X88DPL
Give Gareth a break, he’s not had time to learn from prior mistakes in tournaments and friendlies, you try finding an adequate Kevin Phillips replacement on top of it all 🙃
  • Saka needs dropping he's not strong enough . Goes down too easy . I've seen more strength at under 12 football
  • @Shano_7
Tonight really felt like Iceland all over again till a bit of brilliance. Papering over the cracks
  • @DanielS10291
The difference between gomez and trippier is Gomez can actually use his left foot. Trippier is one of the most one footed players ive ever seen
