Found my comment from the first upload: It's really cool to me that even the most minor, obscure characters have some sort of background explanation in the Star Wars EU. It makes the universe seem more alive, like not everything necessarily revolves around the main characters, but that others have lives of their own too. I only have, like, one of the Star Wars encyclopedias in my collection, so it's also nice to have that info included elsewhere without having to dig through mountains of text.
