Plus, Justice Alito is facing a new wave of backlash after reports his homes had flags flying outside that are linked with the "Stop the Steal" movement. Peter Baker, Hayes Brown, and Charles Coleman join Stephanie Ruhle to discuss.

It is ridiculous that Americans let the party in power draw electoral maps. Independent and non partisan commissions should draw up these maps. Gerrymandering is an erosion of democracy.
  • @selftaopath
What voters say or want DOES NOT matter. Let that sink in.
  • The fact that SCOTUS said partisan gerrymandering is ok is absolutely ridiculous. It will take a generation or more to undo the damage done by this court.
  • Impeachment is an extreme remedy? Are u kidding me? It's the least we should do.
  • @Arational
Gerrymandering should be outlawed. Districts should be determined by a non partisan panel with a view to encompass whole communities. No carving out of areas to force a desired political leaning to win.
  • With all due respect for the gentleman in the glasses. I have to disagree. According to Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, the justices recusing themselves is statutory law. Specifically for the supreme Court.
  • No other democrac nation allows a political Party adminidster an election. What a dumb idea!
  • @trishhunt4085
American politics are laughable. Honestly, it's shocking that the country has lasted as long as it has. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. RIP.

We're being played. Wake up. Do something, ANYTHING, about it before it's too late. PLEASE. I've said it over amd over voting won't work.......and this is exactly why.

28 US Code Section 455 federal law expressly REQUIRES a JUSTICE to DISQUALIFY in a case where a conflicting interest, not a mere unenforceable ethics suggestion. Current SCOTUS also violates another rule of law and ethics violation. Cannot render any opinion on a matter not currently in a case directly before the court. 1954 Brown decision basis not directly involved in SC Gerrymandering case, so such indirect "opening door" is outrageous and inexcusable.

Congress- please move towards passing changes for SCOTUS TERMS. They need to be voted positions - term limits with balances of power put into play from their peers- maybe “jury’s” made up of randomly selected state high court judges -

Alito probably has a bunch of mammy figurines in his house.

It means 15 Justices are coming to the US Supremely Disappointing Court.
  • Isn't it racist to separate people by race. People vote for the candidates not their skin color.
  • @YTPartyTonight
Judges on the Supreme Court need to be term-limited and rotated to lower federal courts when termed out. The Constitution doesn't say their lifetime appointments must be served only on the Supreme Court.

THURGOOD MARSHAL TRIED TO WARN US. Thurgood marshal refused to endorse Thomas. During an interview regarding Thomas, he said his father told him "a snake, black or white is a snake".
