I did this climb in the 1980's and watching your video I remember these pitches like it was yesterday. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for posting, Brad and congratulations on your climb! Brought back some great memories from when I did it in Aug, 1994. For anyone considering, we went with a smaller pack for haul bag and no sleeping bags. A large haul bag on this route is quite difficult.

0:48 - dude looks like he's gonna install cable for the entire mountain

Puts into perspective how hard Alex Honnald's free solo of this was!
  • @bebobbebob8275
When you think Honnold has done this free solo in under 2 hours it is mind boggling.
  • My god in heaven this is another level of fitness carrying all that gear too. Sitting on the ledge must have been incredible. I was sweating watching this! The scenery is stunning. Glad I got to watch sat on my couch! Thanks for the journey ❤❤
  • respect to all you guys who climb this monster. I've never climbed in my life, but love watching these vids

0:44 The amount of gear that guy is carrying is crazy . He brought the whole climbing store inventory with him.
  • Being having hight phobia, every move you made on that 10' hedge, I felt my legs giving way & thought that if I had been in your place, I would have fallen down. You have great courage... ....I highly appreciate & admire & am in complete awe......... its great to see people like you do exist as such I can't even dream to make such treacherous climb.
  • Nope, even with a rope it's terrifying. Alex Honnold is on another level.

as a person that fears heights some of the views and perches you took your breaks on had me shivering. Holy crap how is you can sit over a ledge with thousands of feet underneath you??? Crazy stuff and I guess you are living your best life so kudos for that pursuit. Congratulations on this climb and all the ones in your future.

Really awesome! This is always so intriguing and exciting, my palms are all sweaty watching climbing videos, even though I've bungee jumped, sky dove, hike high up on cliffs close to drop offs where a fall would kill one, I'd love to do this one day, probably mostly out of fear, for the challenge!
