You are right about every good morning starts with coffee! Congrats on 1000 subs.

I'm glad to see the channel taking off! I had an idea myself about doing something really similar once, but I don't have the desire to do the recordings. Or the charisma to pull it off, if I'm being honest. So when I saw your benefits of retro gaming video it really resonated with me, and I legitimately am just interested in seeing where this goes!

Congrats on the 1000 subscribers milestone! Interestingly enough, milestone means "one thousand stone", so that word is definitely appropriate for the occasion. Here's a Q: "How do you approach old games that you have never played before as opposed to those nostalgic titles from your formative years that you occasionally go back to?" Too often I find myself going back to the same games from my childhood and can't seem to engage in old games that I've never played before, either losing interest or thinking to myself that I'd rather be playing a good modern game instead in the limited free time I have (the FOMO effect).

    Congratulations it’s well deserved.

Just discovered your channel with the benefits of retro gaming and immediately subscribed! Have been obsessed with retro gaming for a majority of my life and always love hearing new perspectives on it, and potentially finding some games I've never played or even heard about :) That being said - what is your list of essential, must play retro games? Maybe divided in different genres, like platformer, racing, fighting etc. And one more, what guitar(s) are you playing on in the music you do for your videos? Looking forward to more content, congrats on 1k!

Which methods of retro gaming do you generally prefer or partake in the most? (i.e. Emulation, remasters, remakes, original hardware.) What is your preference between true retro games and modern "retro inspired" games like Shovel Knight, Bloodstained, etc.

1- Have you played any soulslikes and what's your opinion about them? 2-What's your opinion on console gaming in the last 5 years or so? Does it still feel exciting or is it bland and boring?

I just came across your channel and saw your video on why you should get a PS3 and how it's a solution to modern gaming. Great work. I have a PS3. Had it since 2008. I haven't played it in a while but I should sometime. I agree there's plenty of gems stuck on the PS3. Even if it's library isn't as big or grand as the PS2, it's still very big. You don't need a large quantity of games anyway, you need quality.

My minds version of you from your voice was pretty spot on actually.
  • Late to the party, but i just found this channel because of the xbox 360 video since i just got heavily back into thay generation (been searching the xbox arcade store to grab up any indie games i missed before theyre gone for good) and i had no idea this was such a new upcoming channel. The video was incredibly well made and felt super polished, you very much deserve the growth youre seeing and i hope the channel continues into something huge!
  • @Harerazer
Congratulations! I'd like to know your three favorite hidden gem retrogames that you really enjoy but think they're vastly overlooked. Mine would be Tunnel Runner on Atari 2600 (Yeah, I'm that old), Pokemon Conquest on NDS, and Tokyo Jungle on PS3.
  • @KrazyWizardGuy
Congrats on the milestone my man! My question is - What is a game that you wish you can go back and play for the first time to have that "man... what a game..." feeling again?
  • @Zeek369
Congrats, I think you really hit gold with the retro gaming pov. As someone who has recently gone back to retro gaming myself, I'm wondering if time available to play was a big factor in your decision. I feel like modern games are trying to get you playing every day, with seasonal content, events, and all sort of mechanics that essentially amount to exploiting your FOMO, even single player games do this. Retro games, I feel, respected our time a lot more, they were trying to be fun first and a product second (what, if the game is really fun it sells well without any other exploitative mechanic? who'd have guessed it!?). Would love to hear your take on that.
