Norwegian fire brigade responding on a call about a car accident in a tunnel during rush hour traffic in Oslo. Those who called in described it as a serious accident, but when the fire brigade and police arrive on scene they only find a car who has crashed in to the wall and can drive out without any help.

That bus that pulled in front of them... I thought "wtf are you doing" then when I saw how it was clear for a while in front of them I appreciated that driver for doing that. It was a smart choice and he knew it would be easier for them.

Nice, now I need to find an hour long video of a fire truck driving on a clear highway to get rid of the anxiety I got from watching this video.

When everyone decides to let themselves take the burden, everyone only pays a fraction of the actual cost.
  • Sad no one is appreciating the beautiful cooperation between the drivers and the firefighters. Excellent teamwork to help save lives <3

The sound of the siren as they entered the tunnel was soo satisfying

Meanwhile in Germany: sirens be splitting traffic like Moses split the sea

Illustrates perfectly, why you should ALWAYS leave space between you and the vehicle in front - so you can move left or right to create space for emergency vehicles to pass!

I remember doing this in GTA in a fire engine mission, and I might or might not have intentionally moved the cars out of my way 😂

Imagine being in the car right in front of the ambulance while stuck in rush hour traffick

I like how the curbs are small, so people can drive over it so emergency vehicles have more space, unlike the US

As a German, this honestly makes me mad. Everyone is praising how well everyone is yielding, when what they do is absolute chaos and the fire fighters have to drive in a zigzag around cars all the time and constantly have to switch lanes because the emergency lane formed is not always in the same place. There's a simple rule to mitigate this: If you're in the leftmost lane, move to the left, in all other lanes, move to the right. That way an emergency lane forms in the same place everywhere, and it's much easier to drive through. All countries in the world, adopt the Rettungsgasse!

The Siren sound in the beginning is straight out of Pacman lol

I lived 16 years in a country where people couldn't care less if an ambulance was behind them...this is refreshing to come back to.

Americans: wow that is so nice! Germans: What is this chaos? Dutch: We have special roads for that!
