I can FEEL the history in your Philly videos. I wish you were in Philly more often. There's something so charming about this city.
  • I will watch this when I walk on my treadmill. Pass the time going up and down streets that I will never be on on my lifetime. Thank you.

I am watching this in December 2023. Philadelphia sure looks like a fascinating city. Parts of it remind me of London here in the UK.
  • Thank you for bringing us the sights and sounds of Philadelphia, ActionKid. Well done!

You used to be able to walk through the square by Independence Hall and through the arches any time day or night. There was no fence.

I left Philly after High School (Germantown High, 1960) and am always returning for family get togethers. Mainly, I notice the number of cars is increasing and finding a parking space is an ever-increasing challenge. I now live in Boulder, Montana, and finding a parking space is never a problem. The video can’t convey the feeling of oppressive summertime humidity the city swelters under Spring, Summer and early Autumn. But I always enjoy the early evening lightning bug display. Nothing like that in Montana. Instead we get early evening swarms of Mosquito hoards.

Grandioso, bellos recuerdos de una maravillosa ciudad. Great, beautiful memories of a wonderful city. On the eighth street is it still a departure point for the buses for Chinese New York City?
  • @Gigpreneur
Life was A LOT different back then. No masks wearing.

34:38 I wanted to know what this little house was. It had a sign in front, like it was a historical landmark.
