  • If your truck got bogged in mud - who you callin to help you out?

It’s like Mad Max and Snowrunner mixed all together 😅 Why do all trucks have full asphalt tires? A little bit of aggressive profile on that rubber would do some miracles.
  • What I don't understand is why arn't they building up the road and cutting a ditch with the grader. If the road is lower than the surrounding ground in the wet it becomes a lake because it is the low spot. In the dry season a couple of hours with the grader or excavator would eliminate the bog and make a usable road.

I think they should order some good heavy duty ice/snow chains.. they work very well in mud too..
  • @zachwalker5085
Chains? Hell even more aggressive tires. You should see the tires we run on trucks in the oil fields they have some lugs

Always thought the ice roads up in Alaska were crazy but dealing with mud and wild animals that could eat ya I think takes the cake safe driving to ya

While most people say that they needed AWD truck and off road tires which I would agree, but there's a lot more factors here. One being money as AWD trucks are more expensive and have more moving parts and then you have maintenance ( though if it's a disengageable front axle you don't need to drive in 6x6 mode all the time). Well, off road tires, we don't know how long their trips are and how much % of that is tarmac and dirt, but everything comes down to cost and reliability. Super single tires perform better off road than dual tires but you risk having a flat tire and you don't want that out in the middle of nowhere. In the end, the better solution is to have a better road maintenance, mark the spots where water gathers and make a sink.

Glad I am retired Professional Semi Driver. All you are Super Professional Road Train's. I personally could never do that. Thank you sharing. 🎉🎉❤🎉 From Ohio. My son is a professional semi driver. Tornado s and hurricanes aftermath East Coast here. Tornado Alley got worst this year.
  • Get a Scania V8 730 with the 4 axles setup, with some chains in the back or use proper tires and you are golden. How much horses are those old trucks putting out? Why not get a tatra truck? Thats a 6x6 with 6 wheel drive.
