Death Valley National Park is the largest national park outside of Alaska, with over 3 million acres to explore. And in our opinion, it is one of the most unique and diverse national parks in the United States! We spent 3 days trying to see as much of the park’s highlights as we could and had a blast!

A few things we forgot to mention in this video that may be helpful for your planning:
-There is hardly any cell service in the park, so download offline Google Maps and AllTrails maps in advance. We got a little bit of service near the Furnace Creek Visitor Center and had great Verizon LTE at Dante's View!
-Fuel up beforehand! If you think gas prices are bad where you are, just wait until you see the prices in Death Valley 😜 (Beatty, NV had more normal gas prices at the time of our visit)
-There is a max vehicle length of 25 feet for Dante’s View and the Artist Palette Drive.

Outstanding! Thanks for sharing. You 2 are great to observe. Thanks for showing your hiking adventures. I continue to watch.
  • Your videos are so interesting and enjoyable to watch. I admire your enthusiasm and hiking abilities. Thanks for taking me along to places I’ll never see!❤️
  • WOW! I've watched all 230 of your videos and this video was easily in the top 5! Fantastic sound blended with all the beautifully captured natural surroundings; really makes me want to get right out there and hike all of it. There are a lot of videos that will say, "Here are the top 10 things you need to see in such and such national park...," but you essentially did that while telling a story, which is much better. Even before I watched the video, I was at work, briefly saw that the video had dropped, and recommended it to a colleague who has been saying she wants to go to Death Valley. Y'all make me proud that I did!
  • Another great video; came just in time as I was starting to miss you two; never been there but have planned to for decades.😎❤️
  • You captured the unique beauty of this desert landscape! Great time of year to visit this park! Thanks again for letting us tag along!

Your videos are wonderful but the joy and fun you two are so obviously having exploring and learning together is the best part. Keep being you. Thanks

We just went there. The Badwater basin is actually covered in water now. I’m guessing from Hurricane Harvey. Darwin Falls and Crowley were both closed due to road construction (there is a stretch of road about 5 miles long where you have to be escorted).
  • Thanks for sharing your adventures - it's always fun to watch your videos and get inspiration for future travel destinations.

Wonderful video series in Death Valle A+K! You do such a great job of researching the area you are exploring and telling the story of the past and how it is today. As you said, looks like lots to see and do in DV, for 5 months or so of the year! Safe travels.
  • February looks like a great time to visit the park! We will have to keep that in mind as we plan our adventures for next year! Thanks for sharing another awesome blog you guys!
